Nocturne is a real douche but so squishy, one silence and he's dead in a flash. Hate how my Shen ult can't be used during his (though I haven't tried the whole "portrait" clicking yet)

Also, the whole MP5 runes I hear to use on AP users, those are Seals of Clarity right? Not Replenishment?

Clarity edges out replinishment at around lv 6 or so. It's a better rune imo

What are your guys' thoughts on Jarvan now that he's been out awhile? I've been playing him a bit, leveling his broken ass E as quick as possible, while throwing a couple in his Q and R also. I feel like his flag might get a nerf, thoughts?

I enjoy Jarvan and leveling his Q quickly for harassing on the lane. His ult takes some getting use to as to not go suicidal/kill a teammate/cause the enemy to simply flash or ability out of it. He seems to work best with teams than by himself.

Would like his base stats to be a bit higher and have his innate passive to refresh with hits too and not just seconds.

Playing ranked, leader afk's and misses the bans, comes back and picks Amumu. Proceeds to not jungle, never land a single ult worth mentioning, and have a whopping 53 CS (10 above Janna!). Nocturne "First time jungling" uses his ult to constantly run into 5 people and kill one then die. Jax gets less CS than Amumu and his only kill the entire game was a first blood.

I don't particularly like Jarvans in most team comps, but when my friend and I play and our team is setup right we play Jarvan + Miss Fortune. It's really broken to lock people in a small circle than use MF ult to mow them down, we have a lot of fun with it.

Ranked will suck until you're like at 1800+.

Jarvan is awesome, he's fun to play but he's kind of lackluster compared to his alternatives like Irelia/Xin/Olaf/Mundo which just simply bring more to the table.

it's all about team comp. i lose a lot of solo queue because people instalock in whatever they want as soon as champion comes up. when i play with my tryhards at night we'll generally win 80% of the time just because we get complimenting characters.

speaking of, a really hilarious comp is jarvan and teemo. have teemo stand on one of his shrooms in a minefield then have jarvan ult their team onto it and have teemo flash out. won 3 games with that last night.

He's really amzing at jungling and farming. Tiamat is a STAPLE ITEM, its so rape with your passive. :D

Fought against a pretty effective Nocturne this afternoon. I say effective lightly, as we still won in the end--but it was still a very very close game (both teams within 2-3 kills the entire hour). He would wait in the wings until a teamfight began, and then use his ulti to hop in and finish off one or two of our squishies. The one time he didn't do this was the fight he decided it was a better idea to go for our two exposed inhibitors. We finished off his team, came back and finished him off and then pushed to win.

tl;dr: it's somewhat effective and annoying for a Nocturne to just come into a fight late and clean up.

Just had my first hour plus game, manning Lux. Went 17/4/20. got my Ult up to 1,000 dmg, thought that was pretty impressive.

Nocturne with Tiamat + Winfinity Edge = Auto-win if your tank can hold them in place for 2-3s.
