The vatican is an awesome building, and you don't need to be religious to realize that. Seeing the pope speak will be something I'll remember for my whole life, and I'm nowhere near a religious person.

It's kind of like how millions of people watch the Super Bowl every year, even though they have no idea how football is played, don't need to be a fan to appreciate it.

I wonder how the numbers of priests that molest kids looks in comparison to that of say, teachers/counselors etc worldwide.

Priests are always going to get the attention, but during my school years, two teachers got busted.

Either way, watching the pope speak is going to be good. If you feel it's a huge criminal organization, then it would be like watching Al Capone giving a speech, or Castro, or the president, or Berlusconi, or whoever else you feel is a criminal.

No, not AIDS, but there are bacteriophages that have been known to be pathogenic when released in humans.
