Yes, god forbid us ever wanting to play characters that both physically fit the role they're playing and are attractive.

What's wrong with a buff woman wearing full plate that actually, well, protects her?

Why the hell would a highlander wear heavy armor? Have you looked at the male models?

It doesn't take a mathematician to see that the amount of work and resources to required to create a set of female Highlander models, rig them, texture them and animate them for such an incredibly low minority simply isn't worth it.

XI was rather mediocre on fanservice, really. Most of Vana'diel was an A cup, armor that actually showed cleavage was rare, and at worst you might've had some booty shorts outside of the naked mithra model.

I'll basically mirror Rowe's sentiment, though, and sometimes I can find fully clothed chicks hotter than when they're (near) naked. Look around and you'll see complaints about female taru being confused for males in XI. I don't want that sentiment extended to all races because someone thinks it's "realistic" for an athletic woman to have no boobs. What's next, buff guys have little wieners?

In fact, all of the female characters in WoW are no more muscular than XIV models. And it's not even like they have an excuse. With such low poly models, it'd be an easy thing to remedy.

Simple fact is that most people find anything past simply 'toned' a turnoff, and that's why game developers don't bother.

The choker and the bra-like shirt, but I partially agree since those are minor details and I mainly focus on faces here. That's really the point of showing these things, giving us a feel of how we can customize the base of our character, not the things we add on later.

This song is from the original FF as in the very first. IT is right after you rescue the princess and cross the bridge the king just had built for you.

No doubt, but in D3's case, it's mainly Blizz showing that all the classes (so far) could be either sex, which wasn't the case in the past two Diablo games.
