Nerd points is the only thing I could think of. Although relics look better imo :/

They should just leave mythic the way they are and let time pass by so the playerbase can finally drop the price of alexandrite to 1k each.
These weapons are meant to be expensive but imo, were never meant to be even half he price of relics. Wouldn't mind glanzfaust or tizona if they were 30mil as oppsed to 90-120mil PLUS other 1 years worth of quests.
I would really like as someone said to give these weapons ALL 3 aftermath bonuses at 100% TP for 30 seconds and all 3 aftrmath bonuses at 300% TP for 120 seconds. Would make the Liberator fucking epic with Over 100 DMG and occ attacks twice almost always on (with attk and acc boosts would be epic).
Of course..... Apocalypse would still own by having occ.attacks 2-4 times. lolby killing 100 Tiamats with killing blow. >_>

Now I hope Spharai will get OAT or OA3 times or even OA 4 times but then how would they balance glanzfaust or mythics in general if relics can OAT also... That ruined my hope for seeing OAT on any relic weapon unless they can doe mythics like I wrote above.
All the discussion only lead to one conclusion - don't put too much hope on Magian weapon's OAT proc rate.
Current Relic/Mythics Magian Upgrades are just a stop gap till they know where to take them further with the new Level Caps, things are going to change so much between now and lvl 99 that trying to figure out if they are worth or not right now doesnt make much sense IMO.
But just taking a wild guess Im not putting too much faith in Magians OAT on one side and Im quite sure Relic/Mythigs are going to get added effects besides just dmg, Mandau dmg +2 seems a little off for example...
I know I've said it a few times, but I feel it's still worth being said. 2H Mythics have a very high damage output in ideal situations. Way more than people give it credit for. Unfortunately not many events can come close to this ideal.
That being said, Mythics as they are now are still very powerful weapons. Admittingly I use my Apocalpyse a lot more than my Liberator, but I have used Liberator in plenty of situations and it parses very well. (In Einherjar for example I can destroy any non-relic melee, and come very close to all out relics.) With the these first two augmenting quests, Liberator gains +8 DMG which a substansial increase. Future augments will push the weapon even farther.
To answer your quest though, Mythics are much easier to obtain than a Relic in terms of gil. For someone with a large income, there isn't much incentive to go for a mythic unless your job doesn't have a relic, or you're looking for the unique bonuses mythic can give (ie; yagrush). For someone like me who doesn't make much gil, obtaining a Mythic is much more reasonable.
I love my glorified turkey leg <3
Kenkonken with full magian update is easily the best PUP weapon at the moment. Sure, it's still PUP, but the next best option is Shenlong's and only a choice few of us have those. But +22 DMG, 49 delay, a martial art's trait, the aftermaths, AND the overload suppression just blow everything else PUP gets out of the water. The magian quests, if anything, give people more of a reason to upgrade mythics, not less.
nope. nirvana had a huge amount of it's edge beaten out of it with the magian weapons.
it's now no longer the only weapon with -4 perp, or matk. and considering some of the macc and +skill alternatives, it MIGHT not be the best one to land magic pacts in with.
all in all it really was another nail in the already brutalized plywood coffin of bahamut's staff, at least until we are able to augment it. they really outclassed it when the ANNM and fay weapon quests came around... real shame too, since it's asstardedly hard to do the entire build up to bahamut v.2
our bp/situation dependant best would be...
mythic pole for+skill from annm meri with +10 skill, if not more, as they said they changed values (i think).
nirvana for +matk and lolsmn and lolpet melee dot.
nirvana or a magians pole for perp
different magian's pole for +atk for physical pacts,
another magian's pole macc for magic pacts, although mythic pole might give more macc through +skil, if it isn't a 1 for 1 trade.
On my server relics cost waaaaay more than that, ranging from 150m for the cheap ones to well over 200m... and that's excluding the last 30 100's and if you don't buy coins from the overpriced Rolanberry bazaars.
Figured out it would be more or less the same on the other servers as well.
Guess it depends on the relic. Bynes are cheaper than dirt, Opeices and Shells are a ripoff everywhere.
I really hope they instance dynamis with the lvl cap (and make it non capped) to fix the relic currency industry.
Personally, I see Magian weapons as the 3rd coming of the 'legendary' tierset of weapons.
The first being Relic and the second Mythic. The major difference is that instead of a one-size-fits-all or one for each approach that the previous 2 sets took, Magian weapons were designed to be decidedly more customizable, and forego the look factor (for now).
This makes the most sense because the cap is currently still 75 when it is introduced, but when it goes to 99, it has room to expand even further (also planned in road map already) and potentially exceed relic/mythics, and this is why they've added them to the upgrade list too, so that they can always somehow be on par.
I think Magian weapons really are meant to give relic/mythics a run for their money.. and work well for jobs that needed more options or bigger numbers at endgame. And they're good because the trials are essentially free. You couldn't pay to get that part done. And even for those that require NM drops, they only require 10, the drop isn't hard and the NMs aren't exactly difficult now, so they'll be even easier in future. There's no huge monetary issue there.
My point really is that in future updates when Magian weapons may clearly exceed base Relic/Mythic weapons in various ways, Relic and Mythics will probably have trials that buff them up too AND the effort/monetary value needed to create NQ relic/mythics would have gone down at that point.
On the other hand, Magian weapons trials would continue to steepen for each additional upgrade, to the extent that its effort would likely rival or exceed getting Relic/Mythics.
All in all, it might even out, or maybe not.. but as all 3 sets of weapons will continue to grow so there may yet be hope for them.
One thing to remember is that mythics have a unique OAT that stacks with the base double attack trait - if I remember correctly.... right?... right?... ugh been out of this for so long
