Yes, we still use subs. If you never hear about them, that means they're doing their job. Have I been on one? I was on one ... 6 months ago or so? The Naval Academy's homecoming, one came in town for the football game, and I was chosen to be part of the Academy's welcome committee.

That's really cool tbh, while I'm scared as fuck of being out on the ocean both a sub and an aircraft carrier seem like they'd be really cool to be on. Are you just on a normal ship or a carrier? Either way get me some pics from on deck if you can, bet there's some really sweet views

I'm going to a Frigate, one of the smaller decks the Navy uses. The USS Taylor, to be precise. Google it if you wanna see exact ship I'm going to. Fuck Carriers, I'm not a big fan of 6k people on one boat (hi2u, Titanic)

If I get the opportunity, I'll take pics while I'm out and post them when I get back, or I'll email them to someone to post.
