What are we, Swedish? Its got a fucking "v" in it. Guild-leave.
mm can't wait.
New video up, comparing alpha to beta!
Going to have to watch it in 720p to clearly notice the difference.
Ooh its gorgeous thanks for the heads up!
I like what they did to the UI. Much more efficient to have everything stacked at the same place.
Love how Miqo'te runs :D
Finally a video of a Miqo'te running and fighting! xD
Loving the animations!
Transformation looks really good, crazy how some shadows and lighting makes that much of a difference.
Loving the Miqo'te
Don't you guys think the enemy's HP bar shouldn't be in the middle of screen? In FFXI, I didn't like when things in the UI got too close to the battle I was trying to watch. Has this been brought up before?
I don't mind it. When I set up my UI in WoW, my target box would be close to the center like what we see in XIV so far. We'll just have to wait and see just how much free control SE will give us with the PC version.
That's very sexy. I'm relieved!
Well, I like what i see. My only worry now is performance with a lot of chars/ mobs on screen. They should implement some kind of dynamic LOD or somesuch.
Just did a post about this on my site. One thing you'll notice is that the Minimap has been improved:
http://www.ff14news.com/wp-content/u...06/minimap.jpg
Notice how the alpha version of the minimap shows all levels with only slight distinctions. In the beta version, the multi-leveled city of Limsa Lomonisa shows the level that you are on much more clearly on the minimap. As well, it shows stairs within the building. Overall, the changes to the minimap will help improve navigation within the city.
It's definitely looking good, but I'm really hoping there are more than 2 animations for basic attacks and 1 for crits.
And whoever said the stamina bar reminds them of Demons Souls - I had a flashback or two myself.
Edit: or is it just 3 animations for attacks including crits? Her normal attacks are doing around 55, then at 1:43 she grunts and the sound of the hit landing is louder for 69 dmg, then a few swings later it looks like the previous "normal" animations and sounds but says crit for 74?
