    Also: If you just want to capitalize on ratio shit for this, start downloading the Bach and Beethoven. I've only downloaded 3% of each, but I've uploaded over 8gigs in less than 15 minutes.

    What's the best way to get into the torrent game? These private torrent sites want you to keep up a high ratio (not even 100% sure what this is) but how does one get their foot into the door? I have about 20 gigs of music that I've gathered over the years via p2p programs but I don't really feel comfortable using those anymore. Any advice?

    ike: you either get someone to give you an invite (but you'll need to prove you're responsible with your sharing, because poor invites cause problems for the inviter) or you 'interview'; the latter requires you to prove you have some knowledge of the fidelity and intricacies of audiophilism (all of the info you would need to know is available via wiki.hydrogenaudio.org; there's also an info page that I can't remember the address of for the life of me that goes over the key points of what's important to know for what.cd membership, I'm sure you could find it with some googlefu).
