How does that seedbox thing work? I know what they are but I mean do you have to know terminal language or is it a console you can login to, and how do you get your files to/from the box?

Less worrying about my own connection getting choked out and being able to constantly leave stuff running would be nice :3

If you're doing it with a provider you don't need to know Linux at all, though you can SSH your box if you'd like. Everything is done through FTP/Web UI.

Ya the way it sounded was like you give them the torrent and they just put it up for you lol. It would be pretty easy even for someone who has never used Linux before.

Once I start paying a monthly fee *specifically* for torrenting... I start wondering what the point is, considering $20/m could get you something like a rhapsody, netflix, or gamefly account(or all 3 for alittle more at the basic levels).

Just saying it would feel weird to pay a monthly fee specifically to steal, lol. I mean, just take a moment to think of the absurdity of capitalizing theft(not the goods, paying to have access to theft..."Yo, I'll let you steal this TV for $9.99").

Yeah, being able to a) leave torrents running all the time at full speed and b) not draw attention to myself is entirely worth $15/mo.

Mostly the full speed is nice, especially with ISPs doing QoS filtering that rapes your global speed if you maintain torrents for too long; I'll probably have to shut mine off for a few days after this freeleech weekend is over haha

Well, I think a lot of people don't consider it stealing at all, so a seedbox makes a lot of sense. I don't have one, but I will probably get one once I have more disposable income.

I'm loving the freeleech, thanks for the Bach and Beethoven reccomendations, my ratio is up to 8 now lol.

I just wasn't sure, because I am not very computer savvy. Does Limewire let you download like, an album with a folder full of all the songs and stuff? Instead of having to download each individual song?

Careful when you join Klutz, if you aren't too torrent savvy it'll be easy to fuck up your ratio quickly and get banned. Too bad the freeleech is about to end, would be a perfect time to join
