I agree, I liked the first suit better. I wish they would have used the new Cap suit that Bucky Barnes was using after he took over for Steve Rogers, sleek metallic looking.

Collider"[I] was blessed to be a part of [the Marvel] universe," he continued, "because I love what Marvel did with something so fantastical and unrealistic, making it kind of plausible, like when they did "Iron Man". I just thought those were really great movies, the first one in particular... The character of Hawkeye was always cool. He's kind of a rogue, shadowy character. That's what attracted me to him. Then he's also a human being. He just has a high skill set, so they call him a superhero."
Oh, yeah. It’s huge. Look at how many characters are in that thing. It was the ultimate challenge for Joss Whedon, who knows that universe so well. There was no one better to write it. He was so challenged, to write and direct that thing. I don’t know how you put that many characters in a movie like that. It’s immense. But, with that, you pass the baton. You get to work with very few of them ‘cause everybody’s got their own thing going on. Someone’s in the air, flying around. I’m on the ground, shooting a bow and arrow. There are a lot of things happening. I have no idea what that movie looks like. Zero idea. Most of the time, I have a good idea of how it’s going to turn out because I’ve seen so much of it, but I have no idea. I feel like I might be an extra in it. I’m not sure.
http://geektyrant.com/news/2011/12/5...ls-spoile.htmlCobie Smulders revealed what seems to be a pretty big spoiler for her character during a recent interview with Vulture. She states that her character will have superpowers, which is either a mistake or a big departure from the comic book Agent Maria Hill has never had any superpowers.
Below is an excerpt from her interview.
You're also getting into action with Joss Whedon's The Avengers. Before he cast you in that, he said he was considering you for a Wonder Woman project. So he’s clearly a fan. Did he ever tell you why?
No! If he did, I would throw up in my mouth. I mean, the Wonder Woman thing was a very kind comment, I think. I was never in touch with studios about it or anything like that. But we had so much fun shooting [The Avengers]. We had days when it was just us working — and, oh, 200 extras — but, you know, in the inner circle, it was nice to sit by the monitor with him and watch him take on this ginormous project with great ease.
You’re not a superhero in the movie, but you do have sick costumes?
I do. They’re very sleek, and very leather.
And she has superpowers and is hyperintelligent;
a very nice, fine woman who has all the answers.
Sounds like this role might turn you into the sexy-brunette-vixen type.
You know, fingers crossed! If I can be seen as somewhat sexual, if only to my fiancé, after having a child and turning 30, I will be happy for us.

Sounds like someone who doesn't know shit about her character.
Also, I do prefer the Cap outfit from WWII. It was much more realistic.
Some new UK banners:

top banner looks retarded. all i see are floating heads
Does Loki look different to anyone else?
Nope, but for some reason Bruce Banner does.
German trailer with new clips:
Did someone say vampires? No? Well, too bad.
http://geektyrant.com/news/2011/12/2...a-vampire.htmlThere has been some speculation that the vampire could actually be Marvel’s “The Living Vampire”, the anti-hero/villain Morbius. If this is true, does that mean that Morbius will be a ally or an adversary? Since the character will be showing up in the end credits, does that mean the character will appear in the likely sequel?
The vamp will be played by actor/stuntman J.J. Perry. He has worked with Whedon on Angel, Serenity, and Firefly. I am interested in seeing this movie even more now. What are your thoughts on this news?

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hea...Top+Stories%29Marvel’s The Avengers, which Disney Studios will give a wide release on May 4, 2012, is now going to be in 3D as well as 2D, the studio announced Thursday.
In the movie, Marvel’s super heroes team up to fight a threat to global safety. The list of Marvel characters in the movie includes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Black Widow.
Disney also announced that the name of a previously untitled movie from Disney animation is now Frozen, and that it will get a wide release on November 27, 2013 and will be in 3D and 2D. The movie is described as a fairy tale, but the studio has not released any other details. It is not the live action movie Matterhorn or a Pixar movie about dinosaurs, which is scheduled for release in 2014.
The studio also said another Marvel movie, which is as yet untitled, will get a wide release on April 4, 2014. A studio spokesman would not say what it is about; the announcement is mainly to lay claim to that date.
and how Joss feels about his movie being post converted to 3D
http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/excl...vengers-in-3d-Just a quick update to let you know that Joss Whedon has offered up his 2 cents on this 3D business saying...
"there definitely are movies that shouldn't be in 3D... THE AVENGERS isn't obnoxiously 3D.... There's no, 'Oh look, we're going to spend 20 minutes going through this tunnel because it's in 3D!' And no one is pointing at the screen the entire time. But it's an action movie. Things tend to hurtle toward the screen anyway."
I still don't feel the need to see the movie in 3D. The fact that it is being converted to 3D to charge people more money to see the move is obnoxious enough. He went on to say...
"Yeah, it's fun!...I'm not a big fan of extreme long lens, talky movies - I like to see the space I'm in and relate to it, so 3D kinda fits my aesthetic anyway. And the technology has advanced so far in the past couple years."
few interviews
Tom Hiddleson
Chris Hemsworth"He and Thor literally have superhuman powers," the British actor says. "Within the Marvel Universe, Loki has the keys to the universe, and he's been down all those dark alleyways in space. He's met all the monsters and made friends with them."
Alluding to the backstory, saying that between the gap from Thor's end and The Avengers's beginning, Loki has taken a journey to the Marvel version of The Seventh Circle Of Hell and brought back secrets. "He's an all-power-being," he says smiling. "Loki's agenda, like all delusional, would-be autoratic fascists, is power, which he believes will give him self-esteem. I haven't let go of the fat that he still motivated by this terrible jealousy and spiritual desolation."
Robert Downey Jr"This movie is much more of an ensemble piece than Thor, obviously," the actor says. "It's been a trip. In a strange way, Thor finally fits in because he's not the only guy dressed up in a strange costume." And speaking of costumes, Hemsworth smiles saying, "This time it's sleeveless, so it's more of a summer number," he laughs.
Rehashing on Thor's contribution to the story, he says "Thor has more of a personal investment. It's not just some bad guy that he's gotta take care of; for him, it's family. There's a sense of,'I'll beat him up and teach him a lesson, not you guys.' It's the first time in ages since he's seen his brother, and it's amongst all this chaos."
"I'm hugely impressed with how Joss Whedon has worked all these characters into the story. I was asking myself, 'How is it going to work?' But Joss is a genius in the way that he's written this. All the characters get their time, and it ends up being a very iconic collaboration. We've watched these characters grow individually on screen, and to see them come together is really exciting."
"In Iron Man, which was an origin story, he was his own epiphany and redemption of sorts," Downey offers. "Iron Man 2 is all about not being an island, and dealing with legacy issues and making space for others. There, he was a military machine. In The Avengers, he's throwing it down with the others," Downey Jr. assures.
On facing Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Downey Jr. sums it up saying, "It's other-dimensional, and so that's the way that Tony think of this Loki-intergalactic-planetary-Beastie-Boys-son reality that happens in The Avengers. As an engineer and scientist who explores all possibilities, I don't see why he would say, 'That's not possible.'"
Tony Stark's jokey approach is to concoct nicknames for his new cohorts. "Like, he'll call Steve Rogers 'Capsicle' because he was frozen." After being asked does he have a personal nickname for himself, Downey quips, "Number one of the Call sheet".
No Scarjo ass, must be fake poster.
