Every one except the Thor movie, where as I've said before, felt disjointed when compared to the Avengers movie.

Loved the movie but the whole Odin did something something to get Thor back to Earth and magically know everything that was going on was a cop out, plain and simple

The Captain America movie I felt lent itself in a fantastic way to provide the story.

I don't really feel it was a cop out. They established in Thor's movie that there were other ways to get around besides the bifrost. And honestly, if it was easy for them to do so (as opposed to Odin using tons of energy or w/e) then Thor would have come with an army(or at least his 4 buddies) to pick up the cube. Plus Odin watching everything with his crows was a really nice touch. The explanation may have seemed sorta simplified, but I honestly can't think of any other way for them to have done it better.

Good point. Just felt odd about the whole situation since they made such a massive deal about the bifrost bridge being destroyed at the end of Thor. The Selvig portion being possessed can easily be chalked up to foreshadowing of The Avengers movie, I'll agree to that much.

mhmm, but I think that Loki showed he was able to get people around without the bifrost (ice giants in Thor) helped out the explanation in this movie.

finally saw it today. Not a superhero fan but this blew me away. Two scenes cracked me the fuck up, and if you've seen it you probably already know which two:

Hulk sucker-punching thor, and hulk smashing the shit out of Loki. I was in tears, omg. Just the way they cut away sharply from Loki's "you cannot match me" to hulk destroying him made it. Amazing directing.

Oh and Robert Downey Jr. is slowly becoming one of my favorite actors. He was amazing again in this movie. "better clench up, Legolas" holy shit lmao.

No. Did you get the Dark Knight Rises trailer? Shit is fantastic, although Marvel unexpectedly took my breath away for the summer.

I liked the movies already (besides the second Hulk movie being pretty meh imo, Hulk was a fuckload better in Avengers), but seeing Avengers I liked the course Marvel has taken with these movies even more. Instead of going for the fuckup that was Spiderman 3 with introducing a fuckload of characters in one movie, each character was fleshed out long before Avengers. That gives Whedon room to just focus the entire movie on the thing he is supposed to be focusing on: the start of the Avengers team with a few nudges to the previous movies.

The music and the seizure flashes are pretty startling in the Prometheus trailer. I wonder how many parents curse it for making their kids cry before the real movie even starts

Am I the only one who thought Hawkeye was an idiot for not grabbing an alien gun when he ran out of arrows? I can understand not wanting to risk recalibrating his aim when he already had a working weapon but once he ran out i was let down when he didn't just steal a weapon and keep firing.
