Whedon wrote of the best one Marvel series of the last decade (Astonishing X-Men) and he and Marvel both know it. Stacking that with this movie, no way in hell either side would not want him back for a second.

While a statement from Feige that Whedon has the option seems good, part of me is scared they'll change their minds and be like "LULZ NOPE SORRY WE HIRED UWE BOLL INSTEAD." (Well, notrly, but you know.)

I fell asleep during the movie at the theaters. Awoke to the terrible death of Pheonix force and just stayed half awake till it ended.

First Class was cool, Origins: Wolverine was kinda cool too, but only because it explained about Wolverine and Sabertooth going back centuries. Other than that bit, I didn't like it.

Origins intro was amazing I thought, the War montage of Wolverine through the years. The movie was actually pretty god I thought, up until the bathroom scene, then it was all down hill.

First class was great, just others me that it retconned everything from the other movies. Should have just been a reboot instead.
