The Dark Knight was overrated, yeah I said it. Only reason movie got so much hype was because Heath was a little bitch and killed himself before it was released. Bale turned Batman into a parody of himself and Joker's claim to fame was a one-liner.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thinks this. I've tried to like it, I've watched it several times, and I Just can't get into it. Ledger did a good job, but Nicholson was better (yeah I said it).

Only certain movies make proper use of 3D with 3D cameras. You'll have to get recommendations from people for any movie if its worth it in 3D or not. Most of James Camerons movies are shot in 3D and designed to make you feel immersed in the movie. Avatar is the best example. I would pay $20 to see that shiet in IMAX 3D again. Those movies that get post-converted to 3D are the ones you should avoid.

There is that small 10%? of the population that gets dizziness from it so if you fall into that catagory, stick with 2D.

Avengers is cool in 3D, it works well if you enjoy 3D. Its worth the price but its not a must see in 3D.

Also one more thing to note. Did anyone notice Iron man armor looked awfully fake in terms of quality vs. previous movies. Especially in the beginning of the movie where he is under water setting up the "clean power" to his new building.

Certain areas of the movie it seemed more polished (final fight in NYC/etc.)

I personally liked the twoface part a lot more than the joker. It felt so intense, especially the end.

Bale was a fucking horrible batman. His batman voice sounds like an asthmatic 300 lb 70 yr old. And Ledger's licking his lips all the time as joker was uncomfortable. Nicholson for the movies, Hamill for the cartoon.

I'm sorry, but in terms of being accurate to the comics; Ledger was leaps and bounds closer to source material than Nicholson was. Nicholson also didn't really play the Joker, it was more Nicholson dressed up like the Joker than anything else. I'll agree with you about Bale though, terrible Batman. Just give Conroy a live action movie about Bats in his late 40's-50's with some Nightwing thrown in the mix and I won't be able to throw my money at the screen fast enough.

Edit: To not completely derail this thread, saw The Avengers again today paid for by my boss on work hours... And yep, still think this movie is fucking amazing. Honestly had more fun watching it the second time due to not having already been watching 12 hours of Avengers prologue in the same seat.

I liked Ledger as the Joker, idk. Bale in Batman Begins was more enjoyable than in TDK. TDK had so many little things that bothered me that I didn't really enjoy it.

As much as I love the idea of adding more members to the Avengers Team for Avengers 2, I am not sure how well that would balance out. I really thought each of the heroes got pretty equal screen time and props, nice and balanced for a movie about a unit. Adding more people would shrink that time and perhaps not mesh as well.

I don't expect all the Avengers to be back in the movie. In fact, they could be unavailable so like cap has to recruit new members or something.

well, I don't see Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Iron Man(I also hate IM on general principle from the comics) being much use against Thanos. Thor and Hulk bring the strength, Cap can get them all together. Need some other powerful characters.
