While not THE greatest, I would say top three ( I love Blackest Night from GL as best imo ). But, seeing the infinity gauntlet in the movie just makes this movie go from awesome to epic !

Marvel Studios has announced an open casting call for paid extras in "The Avengers", which is filming right here in Cleveland. The casting call will be held on July 15 from noon to 4pm and on July 16 from 10am to 4pm at the Holiday Inn Independence, located at 601 Rockside Road.

Those interested in attending the casting call are directed to show up in their "best business executive outfit" and must be well-groomed. Extras must be at least 18 years old and should bring a pen to fill out an application. Photos will also be taking at the casting call.

The Avengers is being shot primarily in Cleveland, with a part of it being shot in New Mexico. Robert Downey stars in the film as Iron Man, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. The film builds upon other previous movies starring the Hulk and Thor, as well as the upcoming Captain America film opening on July 22.

Filming on The Avengers is due to begin in August and will last through September. Currently, the movie is targeting a May 4, 2012 theatrical release date.
