Scientology is bad but it's a small part of a much bigger problem societies are facing right now. There's really not much to say about Scientology so I think we should be talking about related issues too.

I think Archi's point was here, in America (fuck yeah), even our wacko fringe religious groups don't go far beyond yelling stupid shit at funerals. So here, in America, having a religious group follow you around, and mess with your family is incredibly Sci-fi movie-esque and should be discussed. He is talking about that within the context of shutting people up. obviously if you take it out of context the comparison makes more sense. I am not in any way justifying what the priest did, but when the discussion is primarily about the actions of a religious group against critics/detractors, to then compare it to the actions of a twisted fuck, presumably for his own pleasure, is a fallacious line of thought. If that's not what you were intending to say, my mistake, but it seemed as though you were bringing something into discussion that was not relevant to the context of actions taken to shut up opponents of the religion.
