FINAL FANTASY XI Version Update (Jul. 25)



We will be conducting a version update in conjunction with the transfer of PlayOnline IDs to the Square Enix Account system which is planned to take place from Jul. 25, 2011 20:00 to Jul. 26, 2011 3:30 (PDT).

The version update will include changes to the chat command "yell,” along with other fixes. The details of the version update will be announced separately on the day of the maintenance.

* After maintenance is complete, the update will automatically begin after you press the "Play" button. After that, please follow the instructions on the screen.

Bolded the part I am pointing out by quoting it. I may interpret it differently, but to me it sounds like it's going to get patched. If I was SE I wouldn't just throw it out there for people to abuse for 2 days. Maybe I am looking into it too much.

The way I read that is they put up the usual form and just put the new time and examples in there. But who knows.

Yeah I have found it quite funny going back and doing ZNM's. This is from today showing they're pretty much all a joke.

And that is with just RCB on. No Last Resort/Souleater as we popped it before they were back up and only songs were Marches. It probably triple or quadruple attacked though.

Aurara, I assume you were lucky and got a double proc from set effect? Either way, can you post your gear or PM me? I cant seem to get any higher than what I posted previously on Fire Shots. However my Wildfire is able to reach up to 6-7k. Is it just a balancing act or is there a way to keep one high up without sacrificing the other?

Should switch out the Aquiline for a Sveltesse Gouriz and the Loki's Kaftan for Mirke (provided you put MAB on it). Would pump up your WF damage a good bit.

Also, give to me your MAB rings. I needz them.

We were doing apas so i brew'd them on cor...and still had a ton of brew time...so we pulled both chariots..and i killed those. Then i killed like 5 nq mobs for lulz, then we pulled isgenbind to apa, then we finally pulled resheph <_<; >_>;

Edit: you think mirke beats lokis? I have -5 QD 4 mab so D:

I don't think, I know. If it's got 4 MAB and 5 AGI Loki's would need to have 13 AGI to outdamage it. Just go out to rabbits and do one shot with Loki's and one with Mirke. It's not a dramatic difference, but Mirke is better than Loki's on Wildfire.

I wonder if the damages delt are the purpose of Catastrophe. I saw an Apocalypse DRK duo Isgebind with a RDM, and this question came to my mind.

I was exping on my DRK to finally cap off my scythe skill, and I hit a few 4.2k~ Catas on Spectators, and many at 3.5k+. Then some AH WAR came in and did 5k first WS and I QQ'd
