You mean like the 48,000 listed in the OP? Hundreds of thousand, indeed. Lots of the analysts I've been listening to today went ahead and factored that out to come to a number closer to 100k jobs growth, anyways

Census and recent bad weather = Jobs. Nothing to get excited over, just wait for all the people who had given up on looking for jobs to reenter the fray and make the unemployment numbers go up. We'll see an increase in unemployment for some time before the slow but probably sure increase in jobs created starts to really reduce the number.

Something's fishy when jobs are created but underemployment goes up.

There's nothing funny. People who were collecting unemployment reached the end of their benefits and come off the rolls.

If anything, it should be a indicator of the number of jobs that have been permanently relocated to other countries as an effect of globalization.
