Couldn't make it past 5 seconds without raging at the chick's voice. What did she say?

I want to see this regardless, just to see how it ends etc. I believe I read somewhere it's the last in the movie series, idk how accurate that is though.
Depending on how profitable, ya. I'll still go see it even though I'm sure it sucks. I bet it's better then Alice in wonderland

    Spoiler: show
How did people let things sneak up on them so easily in this movie? Like the giant axe guy from RE5 sneaking up on Claire+Alice, or Claire+Chris sneaking up on Wesker from behind..in a room..with only 1 door.

Still, loved the movie and loved that the fight with Wesker was almost hand for hand a combo of some of the fights with him for RE5

They didn't? Even before they spoke Wesker was talking to them. I will give you axe-guy though, especially considering how much noise he made the rest of the time.

The wesker fight was entertaining to watch though, the RE5 fight throwback was a nice touch.

They should have named this movie Resident Evil: Aviation. With all the fucking flying in the movie, holy shit. I was bored to tears halfway through the movie. I know they were trying to build character, (I guess?) but it was so bad. All the prison stuff too. The characters were pretty terrible, the acting was worse. I was literally laughing out loud with the Wesker parts because of how bad he was. It made me think of the RE1 game for Playstation. I knew what to expect going into this movie, and didn't go in expecting anything great, so don't take my criticism too harshly. Mostly I was laughing at these parts mentioned below. In a good way. It just shows how poorly written the film was. I had a pretty good time, but man.

    Spoiler: show
The first 20 minutes were completely bad ass, and I thought I was in for a pretty solid movie. I guess I was wrong. Blew it's load kinda early, I think. After all that stuff with Alice going around exploring and crap, it was just anexcuse to use the 3D. Don't get me wrong, the 3D was quite good. Even the gimmicky throw stuff at you 3D things. When the Executioner came, I finally found myself somewhat caring againg. By the way, where did the Executioner come from? Here's thousands of normal zombies, and then you have this 10 foot one with his giant ass axe. Who even gave him that axe? How did he get like that? Umbrella? I know, I know. Don't think so hard with a movie like this. I also find it convenient that when they had to swim underwater, that girl was like "I was champion as a child" just so they gave an excuse to have her killed off. I also love it how everyone can manuever underwater and breathe forever.

Also, Chris and Claire did sneak up on Wesker. How they managed that, I have no fucking clue. You see Alice walk into the room alone, and the door locks behind her. Then all of a sudden they appear after she says "But I'm not alone either" or whatever. I laughed so hard. The whole Wesker fight was pretty cool, even if ripped straight move by move from RE5. Was cool to see. How did Alice know which plane Wesker was going to get on to plant the explosives? How does a parachute fly out of the plane that just used the same explosives that blew up half of Shibuya? He and everything would be reduced to molecules. The "twist" ending with Umbrella coming back with Jill was umexpected. Sienna Gullory looked pretty hot as a Blonde Jill in her tight suit. Where did all those planes come from again? I'm assuming they were on the ship and were the ones that evacuated.

All in all, mostly enjoyable, even if I picked the movie to part. It was a mostly fun ride. Better than the last movie, no question.

Felt like I was watching the Matrix. There were at least 20 "slow down" animations per fight scene and I was raging about it already like 40 minutes into the movie. It's such a stupid fucking feature / concept.

Thought the movie was shit too though, so lol.

Also, want to avoid giving RE: Afterlife money but still curious about seeing it? http://www.2gb-hosting.com/v/c37d7d0...cb5a.avi.html#

Good enough quality for how little I enjoyed the movie, honestly.

They're catering to the same audience... "yay explosions" followed by the Mary-Sue saving the day, repeat 1000x.

I am extremely surprised at this but... I really enjoyed this movie. Yeah, I had problems with it, but it was SO much better than I was expecting and actually had somewhat of an RE feel to it. Limited amounts of CG and not so much supernatural bullshit made for a much more enjoyable movie than the last. Also, I thought the 3D was really good. The cheesiest uses for it were on the commercial and they did not do that kind of stuff often.

Of course I'm comparing this to the other Resident Evil movies and not the games because then I'd be pretty disappointed, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

I thought the Wesker fight was pretty damn good too... It was totally RE5/Code Veronica. If I had only seen the movie and not played the games, I might not have been as impressed with this part, but the fact that some of it was (practically) straight out of the game, made it more fun for me.

Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who had no intention of seeing this movie, for free or otherwise. I was asked to go and I was like "Fuck no, I'm not paying for that shit". Then, after having absolutely nothing else to do I said what the hell and we went. Maybe I enjoyed it so much because I had such low expectations, but really I thought it was quite good.

Edit: If you're looking for these movies to make sense, you're doin it wrong. I stopped looking for sense after she cast Firaga VIII in the last movie. But then again, this had much less of that, so I'd say they are improving.

I found it really boring. The action wasn't that great. They definitely did not use Milla to her full martial arts talents. She had better fight scenes in 'Ultraviolet'. The story was stupid too. Plus, I couldn't get past all those Alices dressed in matching outfits. Where the heck do you find matching outfits after a zombie apocalypse?

Saw this movie yesterday. I went in with very VERY low expectations and ended up enjoying it a bit more than I expected to.

Action was fairly good, except 2/3 of it was in slow motion...opening scene was probably my favorite.
Was disappointed in Chris...think after 3 RE games he would be a bit tougher...
Was irked by the fact that alice traveled around the world in an airplane looking for people...but obviously had time to do her hair/makeup >.>
Big axe dude unexplained was a letdown
Ali Larter + redhead = hawt
3d was fairly good, but gimmicky at some points
Ending sucked...but consistent with the ending of the other movies since those sucked too

Even with all that said...I still somehow enjoyed it...

When you can cast Firaga, you have people to do your hair/makeup for you, obviously

This movie failed on two accounts - Chris' biceps were too small, and he punched no boulders.

Yeah, Chris didn't really have that badass mentality to me like I thought he should of had. Very disappointed with this movie.

Honestly it was alright. I knew most of the cast was fodder, but yeah they sucked. Too much slowmo too, although I wouldn't mind more Claire moments... she's hawt. It was the second best, w/ the first @ the top.
