However, it just so happens that Apple's main demographic is the middle, to upper-middle class and beyond. Some people out there tend to hate what they are envious of and cannot afford. Perhaps one could argue it's this vocal minority spewing the Apple hate rhetoric and fanaticism?

I think most of us are used to capitalism by now, something like this isn't surprising or frustrating.

What truly is alienating about Apple's customer is that they are super casual, yet, pretend to be known-it-all just because they paid for something that -look- superior. I don't look down on them for following trend when they have the money, I look down on them for following trend thinking they scored the best deal.

Not true. A streamlined device with a lower clock speed will often beat a higher end device with a faster clock speed. More hertz doesnt mean better performance. You don't get cockblocked on performance by processor speed, you get cockblocked by data transfer.

IBM's PowerPC often outperformed it's Intel counterparts when it had a lower clock speed because of how its architecture handled data.


That said, I still think this a poor buy in some areas, however, I would enjoy having the device for long trips where a laptop is inconvenient on planes/cars/buses etc, considering it boasts a better battery life than my MBP, and doesn't weigh as much.

Acutally it was me who first mentioned that its faster/at par with certain laptops because unlike a regular computer, its designed for specific applications. I just don't like capitalizing words randomly.

Its quite pathetic how people smash 500$ gadgets like ps3 and this one so that their shitty blog that nobody reads can get a hundred hits. Its more pathetic to see people that actually lick their ass and glorify the shit they did. You could probably attract the same attention by sticking a 2 liter coke bottle up into your asshole in the middle of Times Square.

Honestly, the reason I posted those pictures in the original post was to provoke idiots into thread-shitting so that I, as a non-iPad user can sit down and laugh.
