Kizunas is an 9pmEST LS based on Ragnarok server.

Our members are based in all corners of the world but mainly in the US and EU. With that being said you must know how to speak English. We are based upon current events such as Abyssea, VW, Dyna and Einherjar *soon to include legion*

We currently run
2 days of abyssea
2 day of dyna and Einherjar
2 day of Voidwatch
with Wednesday as our free day ^^

As far as attendance goes we are not fussed if you pick and choose events of course if it a rare occsion when a event is full then we will opt for members with the most attendence in that month.

We are looking for anyone that enjoys endgame ^^.

Its one of the oldest shell in rag, but most of the old sacks left the game, prolly shell reforming.

For expanding on the lotting rules for someone who is in this LS:

~Sky~
Gear Drops: Sack Members identify one person/several people to lot on the item, based upon your wishlisted item.

Synthesis Items: Sack Members lot these items, sell them, and send the money to the LS Bank to fund LS activities.

~Sea~
Gear Drops: Sack identify one person/several people to lot on the item, based upon their judgment as to who is most deserving to receive the item.

~Limbus~
Before each Limbus run everyone participating picks either Coins or Tickets. By choosing Coins you will be in the pool to split all the Coin drops at the end of the run. Choosing Tickets will allow you to accumulate Tickets used for bidding on Homam or Nashira gear.

Sky: Wishlist didn't mean shit. Barely did sky unless leader/sack wanted something.
Synthesis item: Items sold and distributed amongst sacks, or given to leader to fund relics for himself. (Previous leader got 2 then quit shortly after the second one.)
Sea: Rarely happened, same distribution among sacks.
Limbus: Coins should always be evenly split. You can choose "tickets", but records of how many you actually get per run or total of every members ticket total are not for the linkshell members to see. Again, this lead to leaders/sacks changing amounts or telling you to fuck off for not "trusting their decisions".

Sorry, but this is really how it is. Feel free to apply, but it's not worth transferring to this server to do. We were a popular group many years ago when Mikalo was leading, but since he quit due to RL, it's just gone down hill.

Well I have no idea who Saviorself is, and neither do several Kizunas sacks that i asked that have been in the linkshell since it was created. Are you claiming to have been in Kizunas? Anyway I'd like to point out that SaviorSelf's entire post is basically untrue. First of all the ls bank has never completely funded a relic, nor is gil/items split among sacks so that is false. Yes it has HELPED members finish a relic but never funded them completely. The ls bank is actually used to purchase sky/sea triggers, pay for half of body pieces from ls salvage groups, and to pay for cursed gear. So this notion that it is split among sacks is completely false. There are also rules as far as relic funding goes that apparently you are not aware of. You stated that our wish lists mean shit which is also false. The wish lists are used by the sacks to determine which members would like which items and thus which events to do. The sacks convene on each of these lists and also have a discussion when a particular item drops in order to fairly determine who is most deserving of the item. Ask any current member of the linkshell and they will tell you that the item distribution is very fair. I am not a sack in the shell and after four years I can honestly say that the item distribution is very fair. Limbus points not being made available to the ls is also false considering they are made available right on our forums for anyone in the ls to see and always have been. How would members spend their points if they didn't know how many they had?

Also as far as not being active, we just dont update the events section often anymore. We are still doing events every night except for our free night.

Well, after seeing SaviorSelf's post, I had to post something. I've been in the ls since it first started in Oct or Nov of 2004.

For sky and sea items, we usually alternate, one month sea, one month sky. As a sack, I can say we are fair based on attendance of ls members. We have a lot of members in the ls that have been with us for 4-5 years and still with us. I'm always willing to help anybody on anything, and I rather pass any item to ls members rather then lot it for myself. I know that I work, and can't attend many events, so everybody is more deserving then I am.

Synthesis Items are sold and goes to the ls bank to fund activities like buying triggers for sea and sky, dynamis, salvage, etc.

For Limbus, I have no idea what you're talking about. Limbus tickets have ALWAYS been posted, and updated.

For funding relics, Cloudvii has used his own money to fund the 1st relic, and the ls funded only 1 stage for his 2nd one.

I've never taken a dime off the ls bank.

As for Mikalo, he quit the linkshell 4+ years ago.

To SaviorSelf, I don't know who you are. Was your character's name really Saviorself on ragnarok?

From what I remember, there were many normal Kizunas pearls running around in decent gear for the time they were active.

People like Castellanos and Bonnie and Sindalf were always cool. IDK anyone else in this LS but what I do know is, sack or pearl, I've noticed people in this LS for yeaaaaaaaaaaars, so it can't be that bad.

Well could have gotten better with the other sacks taking over, but just throwing it out there that it's lackluster. For whoever TriColors is that signed up just to respond to me, sorry your standards for success are so low.

Was just throwing it out there for the "we consider a few people for an item, then give it to whoever we think deserves it the most". Being on the receiving end of that one, you could show up to every single event and be there for the full duration, and if one sack doesn't like you, you're not getting anything, no questions asked. It's childish and sad, but hey, it's "successful". Common misconceptions etc.

I think Kizunas is the longest running end game LS on the server established in late 2004, we are still running under the original Pearl. There are quite a few of us left that were around from this era, most are now sacks, but some of us are still “normal” members.

The following statement is why I believe we have existed longer then practically any other Linkshell I know of. The following is taken from our LS Mission Statement:

Kizunas was created for the happiness of friends to share time together. Recently I've heard a lot of people say, “Kizunas is a good linkshell, because you received items quickly and not have to work hard for them.” Let me explain to you guys, regardless if you are serious about a long term commitment with the LS or if you are here for selfish reason. We will give you the benefit of the doubt and help you to the best of our ability. We will not force you to go to any events you do not wish to go, but in return do not expect to get help when you need something.

I always ask everyone in the LS to consider putting others before yourself. You should learn the real meaning of this game and that is -you cannot do everything alone. Learn to rejoice for others when they get something before you and learn to keep going based on knowing you will received what you deserve. By following through, not only will you help yourself but, you will have also helped everyone around you. Kizunas is all about, bonding; it’s the friendship and time we spend together instead of individually.

Have fun and enjoy, but also think about everything I have said. If you have questions feel free to ask. If you have opinions or suggestions go ahead and speak freely. Don’t hide them. I hope you all take this to heart because, I want to make our LS not only the strongest friendship LS on the server but forever maintain the same motivation in your real life. We view out attendance not as personal gain but as helping your friends and putting others before you. Because of this you will find that you get out of it what you put into it. We often have people pass items to others in the LS above their own wants, because we like to see our friends be happy.

These are the types of people we are looking for, people who have a good attitude and are looking for a place to call home.

Most of our recruitment has come through friendships created in-game and RL. We are now open to the idea of cross server applications to those people in the XI community on any server that are looking for this experience.

We joke around as friends, give each other a hard time, mpk each other for fun, and work together like a machine to kill nearly any mob in the game.

Item distribution is extremely fair and those that do not think it is fair are usually selfish and not in the LS for the right reasons. However, sacks are very open to honest discussions if people feel they are being treated unfairly.

TormentorMike was in the LS for 1-2 months ~4+ years ago and was given a second chance 1-2 years ago where he stayed for maybe 3-4 months.

I don't know how Kizunas handles their things, nor do I much care, but I can agree with Tormentormike being easily one of the most hated people on Ragnarok. At the very least he was when I left a few years ago. I had to remove him from my small man sea LS aswell.

lol this is why I loved Ragnarok so much. I wish I just ninja lotted everything I wanted instead of just letting it rot on these useless people they went to. Hated for saying the truth, it's cool. Linkshells wanted sheep and I didn't want to play that part. Sorry ^.^

As far as I am concerned, Kizunas was actually one of the strongest LSs for a little bit on Ragnarok maybe up until a few months before I left, 3 months ago.

Of course, there are people in the LS now who will back it up no matter what, and there are people like the rest of us outside of Saviorself who are making almost blind assumptions, as we were never actually in the shell. Maybe Savior's talking out of his ass as a result to some grudge he's holding but maybe he's not, as he's the only one replying here as a formor LS member.

GL with apps. I don't know exactly how it works, but I can assure you these people are, or at least were, a really solid, active group at one point. By solid and active, I mean one of the better LSs(which might not be saying much!) in the Ragnarok server, and definitely the longest running LS there.

Basically it's what fisban says kizunas is basicaly a friends linkshell that does endgame.

If ya on Rag and looking for more relaxed endgame linkshell why not give us a try there is no harm in leaving if ya don't like how things are run.

If your looking to join from another server i can understand if what mike said puts you off, it would me too so i guess he got what he wanted.

If ya looking for a group that does Endgame 2-4 hours a night only and no HNM Kizunas is a great place to be we do 6 events a week and always do events even if we lack pple we know how to lowman ZNM SCNM Limbus sky and Sea if needed and we're still doing odin at least once a month and doing all the newly added content (fomor kings and VNM).

As for drops we decided these drop basically on the effort you have been putting into the ls for the entire time AND how it benefits the linkshell as whole.

Which is voted on by upto 6 Sacks (depending who is on) and over these 6 sack no 1 sack is the ls leader we decide everything together so sure ya can piss one off just as long as your not a dick to 4 or 5 sacks then theres not problems with that.

For example: I have SCH and I'm a Sack(i'd vote for myself but i can't ofc :<) of the ls but still don't have Novio because the full time BLMs that play and have earned it have gotten it over me even tho i have played like 3 years longer than some of them this is because this is more benfical to the linkshell as a whole.

We try to reward everyone and newer memeber do get ALOT more than the old memebers for 2 reasons.

First being there are alot of the veterans memebers that have all the sea sky dyna and limbus gear they need and still do these events and because they don't need gear from here newer member benefit alot by this and even einherjar is becoming like this.

Second being that we like to bring newer memebers to a decent level fast because 18 Decent memebers is ALOT more effeicnt than 12 Extreme gear memeber and 6 lol gear memebers and in return the older memeber get rewarded in the long run too by having a strong linkshell that can do any new stuff SE can throw at us. (unless it involes 21 hour windows then gtfo)

That being said Kizunas isn't about gear at the end of the day it's about building/sustaining a linkshell that can wreck odin 100% of the time or being able to do a few T3 VNMs the first week there added and we like to distrube the gear/items in a way that enhances the linkshell while rewarding the member that put the effort in.

I will make a few points, not to defend Kizunas because it doesn't need it. Not from Mike of all people.

1. Almost every major LS on Rag has old Kizunas members in it. They may even carry the shell with them. That says something, with inventory space being as rare as it is. Once Kizunas always Kizunas.

2. If you know of the 2-3 things C7 did wrong at the end of his game life, you dont know C7. How much he has helped countless members, and helped keep this LS alive. Say what you will about C7 but he was a great leader.

3. Last and least point. Mike I have seen you on the server from the time we started this game. We never had bad words about each other. Now you come out of your mouth about my LS. How can you say you were ever a member of Kizunas? You never attended any events and who would let you tank? Are you crazy? We knew your story before you joined and thought we would give you a 2nd chance. Nobody could be as bad as they say. Dont talk about things you know nothing about. Keep your mouth shut.
