ok post # 10 here is that picture i circled the areas in red.

    http://solodesigns.ca/images/no_go.jpg

    1. the bottom capacitors will probably get in the way,
    2. there's a part of the cast that appears to pop out in the area where the card needs space.
    3. fromt he site it doesnt look like there is an aditional slot to slide the card into.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/product...ts_250_us.html shows the size of the card.

the greed part of the card (where the circuits are) faces up in the case. the black portions will be towards the bottom.

I'll take a shot of my desktop when i get home so you can see how it slides into the motherboard itself

Thank you very much. It, to me, looks like black housing would be on the north side where I initially circled the sink and conductor, taking up the network/wireless card slot.

Do they make higher end cards that aren't dual slot? I might have to settle if this doesn't turn out well. I just don't want to buy the thing and have to return it right away.

yea could go in upside down also since that case looks weird when it's opened, either way the capacitors / heatsink / case will have portion in the way of a high end card, might have to settle for a 1g normal card. Their not bad just lack a few things the big boys have.

If you don't want to upgrade the power supply. The best card you can get without a PCI-E connector is a 5670 this is ~= 8800GTS based on the alpha system requirements you will be able to play FFXIV

that might be the better option, this is why i dont buy bundle'd pc's. Never know the parts and such they add

I take hours looking over every aspect when building a machine specifically to the motherboard since it's the main source, and oviously the case plays an issue.

I've ordered the PSU from Newegg a few hours ago. I'm considering aiming a little higher than I originally thought provided I can find a card that fits. My main concern is overheating at this point, since there's only one case fan and the open grating on the sides of the case.

The capicitors wont be an issue. Since that is a BTX case, the video card would basically be going in upside down. I do not recommend using anything higher than a GTS 240 or 5670

Is this because of size or you don't think anything more powerful would be worth it for my rig?

I posted that response before I saw that your bought a power supply. Since you bought a higher wattage power supply you can put any card that fits.
