Anyone have one of these? I'm looking to buy one, and wondering if I should keep away from it

The hardware is extremely sexy. However, the device won't support winmo past 6.5, which is a bummer if you were looking into one for the long term. I would look at the htc evo 4g on sprint, or the nexus one.
Flash with Android, every new ROM that gets released is getting better and better :3
I have no personal experience with the phone but if you're tech savvy it looks like you will be able to put win7 phone on there.

Wait for the HTC Desire UK (out now - can import) / HTC Bravo US or the HTC EVO 4G.
Both of those phones are better.![]()
Wait on the EVO 4G, shit is cash.
Does the EVO 4G have a release date yet?
I'm getting a Nexes One instead of this.
They said sometime this summer. Honestly, it is really worth the wait. It's going to be the best phone, hardware and software included, on the market. Not to mention the phone can be used as a wifi hotspot for up to 8 devices, it's going to be insane. I hopefully will be able to get rid of my hero before then so I can get my hands on this bad boy.
Another instance where sprint gets a potential home run. How much you want to bet they somehow screw this up like they did the Palm Pre launch? (Although Palm did have a lot to do with that as well, heh.)
I do like sprint though. Good coverage in my area, cheapest rates. I'll probably get the HTC 4G phone and go with sprint when my verizon contract is up.
I have a Palm Pre from Launch date, there was only a few things they did wrong with it. Sprint exclusive for so long, launched it right before the iPhone announcement iirc, horrible horrible marketing for it, Mediocre build quality.. Otherwise, everything about the phone is A+
Oh my... The HTC Droid Incredible coming to Verizon April 29th and possibly T-Mobile via Costco. I'm currently using T-Mobile so if that happens I'm getting it for sure. <3
Snapdragon, 8MP Camera w/ Flash, 576MB RAM, FM Radio, Sense UI? Sign me the fuck up.

I got a chance to play with the HD2 today.. shits cash man. It came with Transformers 1 and 2 on it apparently. The movie looks so crystal clear on that screen.
Oh, that's what I meant. My friend has one and it's an awesome little phone. I'd actually like one if it weren't for the build quality.
@Pikarya
I've been watching the Android releases for the Touch Pro 2. Things are shaping up very nicely. The most critical app I have for WiMo (turns the phone into a wireless router, oh god it's so nice) doesn't seem to exist for Android yet. So for now I'll just continue to dual-boot the two.
Well the grand point is that as long as I can continue to dual boot conveniently, I can use the wireless router program on WiMo and then use Android for everything else. Why hack the phone (if I ever need to send it in) when I have an app that does it for me in the native OS?
It's more a convenience issue for me in case I need to send the phone in. That and the android builds aren't feature complete (the ringer speaker doesn't work, but the phone speaker does (so I can make calls but not hear when people call me), it can't report on the battery charge, it won't charge at all, nor is it the most stable thing in the world at the moment.
Ahh I see. My mistake then.
