Interesting.Vanille's weapon skill which increases the chance of success
for all action skills of the debuffing skill line will not affect the
success of a skill like Death which is not classified as a debuffing skill.
Then again the whole thing could be BS.
According the official strategy guide, Belladonna/Molboro Wand does affect Death's accuracy.
I heard the guide says war/whm is ilke pld only better, so it must be true!
This is the reason I just upgraded into Malboro... I could sadly see that being false though, considering Death is a bit different from any other SAB ability as it's not even a enfeeblement whatsoever as well as simply being Vanille's "ultimate" ability. The wand sure as hell doesn't seem to be helping me land Death on any Adamantoise...
Her debuffing is important regardless of death so it's still a great weapon, plus regardless of if it actually helps death directly or not, it helps set up for death faster (and also helps with highwind method).
Yeah, I do not regret. "Ruthless" is one of my favorite paradigms to start any fight that matter, followed up by "Tri-Disaster" and then "Aggression."
I would really like to know if Strength affects ANYTHING at all on characters without "Attack" or "Elementalstrikes." Doesn't the Magic stat increase resistances towards magic damage and debilitations?
Either way there are 2 kind of debuffs, you can notice this by looking at the different descriptions Belladonna Wand and Pandoran Lance have.
Belladonna boosts those that weaken the enemy's defenses (Deprotect, Deshell, Bio and Imperil), Pandoran those that slow down/prevent it from acting (Slow, Curse, Pain, Fog and Daze). Yes I know Daze and Curse weaken defenses too sort of but it's the game's logic.
If you notice it's the same debuffs each girl specializes in (since they get the -ga version too).
I would assume that Death should be included in the first category, but who knows.
when I opened this thread I expected the OP to be "you just lost"
