Nothing. I'm an Anti-Federalist and Voluntaryist, who loathes that the Federalists won out. Losing the War of Northern Aggression resulted in the corrupt, massive Welfare/Warfare Protectionist State we have today. The Republicans had de-facto martial rule for near 40 years and instituted everything they wanted. If you read the CSA Constitution it is a fuck-ton better than the US one. It gets rid of the Welfare clause, all public works, has line item veto on appropriations, and requires 3/4 to pass appropriations and outlaws omnibus bills, among a ton of other improvements. Even as an Anarchist I can appreciate the zeal unto which the South were Anti-Federalists, especially Virginia. They also had expressely forbade all tariffs in their Constitution.

While I do not care for Jefferson Davis and his ilk, I have immense respect for the CSA Militia & Regulars. When you boil the War down it was about Anti-Federalists & Federalists. It was an on-going war since Hamilton and the end of the Revolution. If you even read the declarations of secession, and the Cherokee Nation declaration you might get a better picture. The fact is, in 1861 DC was corrupt and tyrannous and the right of disbanding political bonds that laid the groundwork for the Declaration of Independance is no less relevant in 1861 than 1776.
