Salvage Zhayolm Remnants BUG!??

Did anyone leave/log during the run? Do either of your DDs have MP merits?

It could be some kind of rarely-seen side effect of SE patching the floor 1 frog trick, someone might not have used an MP cell, or (*gasp*) Salvage might just be buggy. As someone who was banned for abusing Salvage bugs, I'm pretty willing to believe that that's the case.

Shitty part with ZR is, if it was a glitch (and ZR in general) that being screwed on 5f prevents you from doing 6f as well. I hate the runs where you get 0 rings or 0 ranged on 2f and your whole run is fucked pretty much. Oh well sorry to hear about your failed run

I've seen delays on when cells used actually register (If at all). This weekend we had were someone used a cell, was seen in log, and still could not equip gear in the slot the cell was for even though the status said he could. About 15 min later without using another cell for that slot it finally registered and the gear could be equipped.

Two things you could of done to try and "correct" the issue

1) Since it is confirmed that the mechanism that 'pops' the frog triggers on cell usage (personally witnessed). You can have one of your other members use a cell to have the game recheck. This could be related to the bug where you use a cell but it does not unlock that item untill you a) use another cell or b) logout/login.

2) Which leads me to the option of have a user logout then login; that in theory should rerun the pathos checker and pop the frog.

hmm that's impossibile, we had only 2 mnk today and both used WS and used utsusemi in the run ;_; i really don't understand, imho is a bug because it's so much we do salvage together that just admint a fault will not cause any problem and both aishi and auston know it.... i hope that it will never happen to you ;_;

While I'm sure you'd notice WS's going missing, but nothing on the way to 5f frog really warrants Utsu. Maybe the 2f wyverns since you're missing HP cells and they can be dangerous. 3f mamools hit disgustingly weak, 4f rampart lol...and that leaves what? No reason to cast Utsu. I'm certain Aishi just forgot to use Magic.

It happened to my group before I quit Salvage. All you need to do is relog and everything should be fine.

Could be outside, but he also could've had to take/send the screenshot before they left, disproving that unless he routinely screenshots his gear on his cellphone. Realistically, in a good group, a MNK won't be casting any magic before 5f anyway except maybe tonko.

If that's the case, it seems like he's trying to hide something.

I'd bet one of the members forgot to use one of the cells and felt bad about it - happens quite a bit, even to experienced players. Probably thought they were using a cell but tossed it or something - happens when you go into "Drone Mode" from doing the same thing so many times.

Recap: Not a bug - you'd be surprised how few bugs are actually in the game anymore, and you'd see MANY more reports of the same exact occurance if it was a bug (ie. nerf on ranged weapon base damage recently).
