I'd bet one of the members forgot to use one of the cells and felt bad about it - happens quite a bit, even to experienced players. Probably thought they were using a cell but tossed it or something - happens when you go into "Drone Mode" from doing the same thing so many times.

Recap: Not a bug - you'd be surprised how few bugs are actually in the game anymore, and you'd see MANY more reports of the same exact occurance if it was a bug (ie. nerf on ranged weapon base damage recently).

It happened to my group before I quit Salvage. All you need to do is relog and everything should be fine.

The bug exists, though every occurance of it I've heard of involves someone using cells on 5f itself. You get all your cells on 3f, why aren't they used then?

That aside, why would a PC player use a cellphone and take a picture of a very small portion of their screen? Uses windower plugins but is scared to screenshot..?

We full unlock 2 people in 3f, but then 1 person waits until 5 to unlock. That way, the Madame isn't up to aggro when we enter the room? I know there's a lot of different ways to avoid the gears before that room, but the way we do kinda needs the Madame to not be up.

Obviously, it doesn't mean the guy isn't lying, but everyone saying without a doubt that the guy is lying, or some people saying that there isn't a bug at all are kinda being silly, imo.

Not related to this bug but to ZR, just throwing it in here. Took me forever to figure out that in ZR, earth weather is what causes increased aggro/linking range of archaic machinery (not just gears). Interesting cuz BR is wind weather. If you've ever trained the gears on floor5 you'll notice that sometimes they aggro and link all at once. Sometimes they aggro/link normally. Sometimes it's almost impossible to get them to link. Sometimes they don't even aggro at all. I imagine it has something to do with weather/day, but for sure earth weather increases the aggro/link range. Caused me to aggro the boss prematurely once as well ;/

Do you think he photoshopped it? Looks legit to me, but I'm not photoshop expert. Because according to that picture all he can possibly be missing is JA or Magic. Both of which would be pretty obvious, I'd think. Logger can answer pretty quickly though if any PC player used it. Search through logs for him WSing, casting any ninjutsu, or even using a magic cell, should only take a minute.

Meh, honestly, I'm not sure why he would go so far as to put that much time into it, but it's even possible this was infact a screenshot that had the "flash" glare edited it. Wouldn't be too hard to do, infact.

Either way, it's all speculation, and unless OP uses Logger, I doubt we'll ever know.

This was already addressed. A competent MNK will not use ninjutsu before 5f, save tonko once, and asking for an invis or using a powder is pretty inconspicuous.

you guys are just MENTAL, why someone shoulda put so much effort in PHOTOSHOPPING a BAD mobile phone pic, do you know mobiles have FLASH on it nowadays... i was there, i'm in that LS, i was in that run. after GM's no-no we had only 10 minutes left, so ppl took image proof as quickly as they could, Auston IS on 360, Aishi IS NOT, but its POL crashes everytime he gets a screenshot, that's why he took it with mobile. Dremir was wrong, he wrote a wrong information about him, and you can't assume he is lying just because he posted a badly made screenshot. First, you need to calm down.

Secondly, our assessment of the OP's problem is merely based on what the OP posted. His post denotes Aishi as being an xbox player, which is why their pic was done via camera phone. We, the readers, noticed something was wrong when a cameraphone pic of an xbox player's screen clearly showed the statustimer plugin, which is impossible. Hence the breakdown of the thread.

Sorry is true, aishi is on pc but he crashes everytime get a SS XD yeah i really trust him and Auston and reading about on all other forum i found a lot of "proof" that this bug exist! just i found a GM who doesn't want to pop it for us, and i spent 1h and all salvage to speak with him >_>

btw, to who said mnk doesn't use magic until 5th floor, it's not in our group because to end faster we split group at 2nd floor with 1 mnk + rdm doing the frog and the whm mnk brd and thf going to farm the other room gaining lot of times ( we usually end zhay 5+6+boss in 70 mins), but to do this all mnk needs shadows! And btw, at boss we don't use shiei at all XD

Bugs happen, nothing new. Never used a cell but stat didn't become unlocked until you zoned or logged out and in ?

Did ZR yesterday and had no probs popping 5F frog with 3 ppl unlocked (only 3). Consider this either a one-off glitch or a problem with honesty.
