Spend about 10 seconds on google and you'll find the OST. Key words here are FFXIV and OST. The rest falls into place quickly.

with the rate that this is spreading around its gonna be fun looking for the actual XIV OST when it releases.
people need to remember that this is Alpha.. and not necessarily all tracks you hear here will make it to the game. There'll probably be more added in too..
as is, 44 of the tracks in the rip are no longer found in the client lol.. there might be a number of possible reasons like client size management, but it could also be that some were not meant to make it into the final product.

I know a lot of people feared the Guitar being used so much, but I like it. I don't have any complaints about it at all.

I've listened to around thirty tracks over this past week and overall, I like it better than XIII's soundtrack already. I do agree, though, that a lot of it doesn't sound like a real instrument was used, but instead electronic samples. Still, I'm glad to have an FF soundtrack again that actually reminds me of the older games. Oh, and I really hope 3C is a town theme. So peaceful. My guess? Some kind of desert/oasis town.

i was working on the lyrics for the one vocal track
i haven't read every post in every thread but i saw in one opening video that actually had sound and the full opening, there was a small line from this song that your character apparently can hear
the lyrics of the song do seem to tell parts of the story-line and is probably why SE wanted the lyrics taken down
some people have PM'd me with some of the edits on what the lyrics actually say but it is still incomplete but maybe when it is OK to talk about it we can get together and figure out exactly what is said and how it relates to the story

if anyone is curious which tracks have already appeared in game..
here's a rundown
1C - login
3B - Limsa Lominsa (area)
3C - La Noscea (area)
15 - Battle
16 - during Guildleves
25 - during an escort quest (Treasures of the Main quest)
28 - during the first CS in Limsa Lominsa: Drowning Wench (TotM quest)
47 - during a CS in Limsa Lominsa:Fishermen's guild (TotM quest)
51 - upon completing Guildleves.
CS music is probably applied generally across the game, but the others might be more certainly used in the same way in retail. still, interesting to see
