I should really stop spoiling the discovery of all these tracks within the game for myself, but darnit, they're all just too good!

To me, 14 seems like a mash up of Dancing Mad and maybe Man With the Machine Gun...

These songs are nice - but they seem kind of odd for a MMORPG... wait and see I guess... it sounds like a lot of these are battle themes...

I think it's similar to IX since it was Uematsu's favorite one to produce.

Oh they knew, they knew perfectly well. I doubt SE's people are crying too hard about the leaked OST, especially since they haven't really tried to get any of the sites hosting it to stop.

Ziero is correct though. They do make money selling OSTs, but the OST is far from being released for months.. maybe even until December.

So technically speaking, they couldn't profit from it now even if they wanted to. In the meantime, it serves as a way to hype up the game, partly because its the first FF thats fully scored by Uematsu in 10 years. It also generates some form of hype and attention for XIV.

By the time the OST releases, those who would want to buy and support it still would, except that they already had a preview. These rips are not cut properly and unlike most modern day OST standards, do not complete about 2 loops worth of the songs
