The track titled '15' is the normal battle music. Only one I remember from the stream.

My music only worked for installation, so I couldn't hear any of the game music. I did find that 42 was one of the installation songs.

As much as I love Nobuo I have mixed feelings about some of the tracks and the amount of rock/Black Mages influence he's inserted into them.

The track for battles used in Alpha, #15, just seems rather out of place with the deeply medieval type setting. It's way too repetitious and sounds like a cheesy Guns n' Roses song from the 80's. 1B is the song that was being played at the Game Expo and IMO it's a much better track for battle. I wonder if this will change before the final game is released.

Track 14 might be my favorite. It has such a damn cool vibe somewhere between Castlevania and a Magitek armor factory. This will be interesting to see where it is used in the game.

I agree, the standard battle tune is totally mismatched. I'm hoping its a place holder or something >_>

I love the City and Field music tho <3 so catchy. Sadly about 1/2 the tracks are like the one mentioned above. Nobuo never really did get past the Midi era >_> wish he'd move with the times and use some real instruments lol
