Is capitalism a religion?

if anyone needs an example of how dogmatic capitalism is, keep reading rothbardian's posts.

on a related note, I always found the axiomatic nature of capitalist philosophy to be quite analogous to religious dogmas.

As you can see though from his points,the capitalist does one thing that the religious man would not... he admitted that the foundations his belief system is built on does not exist.

maybe I missed that... but generally you have capitalists claiming things are self-evident and immovable (axiomatic ideas about human nature, definition of freedom as property rights, etc).

if they are demonstrable (provable), then they aren't axioms. or at least, they are redundant axioms. you fail at axiomatics
