The HDMI is linked with one of the DVIs, you can have 3 monitors hooked up at once but it will require you to use the DP port. Meaning an active DP-DVI adapter if none of your monitors have a DP in.

So (DVI + DVI + DP) or (DVI + HDMI + DP).

active will run you about 100$ =(. I bought the accell one and I'll go ahead and warn you early that a lot of these have flickering and signal loss (screen will randomly turn off and not come back on until you change resolution or replug in the usb part of the adapter). It doesn't happen too often so its not that bad.

There is a monoprice option i've read of people using but its dp to VGA and from what I hear it will only support up to 1600x1200 resolution. I'm not sure about the resolution cap.
