Howard Stark is a fictional character in the Iron Man universe. He is Tony Stark's father, and is the founder of Stark Industries. The character name comes from Howard Hughes, whom Tony Stark is largely based on.
Nathaniel Richards is a fictional character in the Marvel Comics universe. He is the father of Reed Richards, Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four, and the grandfather of Franklin Richards and Valeria Richards. He first appeared in Fantastic Four #272 (November 1984).
