lol, been hearing the Droid Flash line for a lot longer than that. I've had my iPhone for about 16 months now, and people were trying to talk me out of it then because "ours gonna have flash soon!!11!1!1!"

I think the main problem they been running into is exactly what Jobs has been talking about. The sheer memory hog that flash is just a huge road block on these phones. Need an example, look at one of the largest flash games out there, Farmville. I open that sucker and it can rival FFXI on the amount of memory it is using.

Which I think is gonna be the funny thing when flash finally does hit droid. People gonna find out real fast that most of the flash content they want to use will be virtually unusable.

Most of the flash content they want to use won't be written to run on a phone's processor and amount of RAM, either. I'm pretty sure an app I write in pure Objective C for a Core2 Duo Mac will run like shit on an iPhone. Arguments that [insert programming language here] are inherently slow-running memory hogs always feel a little last-century to me. In light of the latest version of the developer agreement, I have a very hard time buying the company line of 'oh we don't do it for performance reasons.' Apple has pretty much declared war on Adobe's development platform.
