Did they nerf everstone? Back in D/P I had no trouble getting natures and now every other hatch is a nature I don't want.

Still works like always. The chances of getting new pokes is just gimped a bit this gen so you're not getting as many eggs as usual, probably making it feel like you aren't getting the right natures right. I know with an everstone on my Ditto + poke, I usually can have a run of 5-6 in a row as the nature I want before it flubs up.

Of course when I hatch a good nature one it doesn't have the right ability.

Hrm. Well you don't want speed on Whimsicott, so.. usually HP/Defense/Special Defense are the 31s. Maybe whichever defense you find you'll need more on your team? That or HP obviously.

nah. there's some real idiots who have no idea what they're doing out there. well, not 'idiots', but people not into the metagame sort of scene, but still like to battle folks.

I raise my Pokes well but I think my biggest problem is making them complement each other. Mostly because I'm lazy though. >BO

yeah, good synergy in a group is always nice to have. it's easier to have in a group of 6, which is why I'm not a fan of 3 on 3.

^ This completely. I have ideas for movesets/natures/etc but finding a balance is always the hardest part. Most of the hardship comes from me needing to replay platinum to breed and then having to visit my sister to transfer them over.

My predicting skills need some improvement too. Missed a few chances to use Pursuit or put the right status effect on stuff thinking they won't switch out. I also like to debuff too much too I think, which makes me waste time when I should be attacking or buffing up. Then again, I used to love ballista as a BRD/RDM running around debuffing everyone and making them rage. ;o

Yeah, if you waste too much time on debuffing, you'll walk into someone's trap (ie toxic on a conkeldurr is asking to get anally raped hardcore)

Still kills me I didn't know who you were for the longest and then I find out we played together on FFXI for years. I still miss all the bullshit I got away with on my PLD/WHM in 60 cap before all the job buffs.

If we do another BG tourney after this one what do you guys think about allowing previous gen pokes not on this list.

I would gear up in all DEF gear and target melees dumb enough to bring 2H weapons and spam Elegy 2/Bio 2. Being a taru they thought they'd one shot me but I had a bunch of DRKs and lolDrg hit me for shit. I died laughing at the 0 dmg Guillotine someone did once lol. I'd even chase after mages with Wind Threnody + Silence/Gravity. The only job I had no way of dealing with were Rangers, they'd always chase me down and kill me.

Almost makes me want to replay FFXI again... almost.

I don't know, I always just went with no legendaries when I fought people. I use a couple of those pokemon but after this tourny is over we can decide the rules for the next.
