Le bump!

Finally got around to digging the DS/R4 out of storage for this. Perfect timing as I have a cross-country flight tomorrow and the English patched version came out recently. Have to admit, this game is fucking amazing. So far deserving of the 40/40 Famitsu review.

Can anyone recommend some good Pokes to pick up early on? Going to start a fresh game tonight and go with Tsutarja. Appreciate any advice.

That lightning zebra is real nice to have as electric types are sparse. Other than that and the water starter which i started with.. my later game party didn't have any other pokes I picked up to start with

Get a Darumakka. He's a boss. I think I mentioned it earlier, but I 1 shot like every pokemon in gyms 5-7 with fire punch.

Chillarmy(cute rodent), Meguroko(crocodile), Darumakka(fire gorilla/doll thing), Kibago(huge tusks dragon) and Pururiru(jellyfish) are all good pokemon to have. Not sure how early you can catch them, though.

Awesome, thanks guys. I'm quite fond of dragon types, or at least dragon-ish looking ones. Its nice to have such a variation of types so early on.

Well, you don't see the dragon until like.. the 4th-6th gym and he's weaksauce until you evolve him at around level 41. The levels to evolve pokes in this game, btw is so weird. Like 41>51 or 64 for the Wargle (that eagle thing) I think.. just so random.

Can't seem to get this to work... Creates a .bak file instead of .nds so my thing doesn't read it.
