Assume Whimsicott is leading. Which set is better?

i'd presume the second mainly due to having a dark based attack over the bug type one

I'd stick with the top one. Regardless of Whimsicott, I'm not a fan of scarfing Hydregion, and keeping U-Turn on it allows it to keep up amazing offensive pressure by shedding the -2 SpAtk from Draco Meteor without missing a beat. Dark attacks don't add much to Hydregion's coverage or offensive capabilities anyhow.

and I'd stick with the top one, Marcicus. U-Turn is quite helpful for getting rid of that Draco Meteor -2 SpA.

i have no idea what the fuck people care about in this game but i have some reject larvestas w/ 31 sp.atk ivs

i mean there was a wamoura pokemon and i just had to breed the perfect one and it has been arduous

Larvesta is pretty badass. Volcarona can run a Quiver Dance setup alongside Bug Buzz and Firey Dance that can really fuck shit up with constant SpAtk boosts. Biggest probelm for the firebug is Stealth Rock though, 4x rock weakness blows.

it'll 99% have sucker punch and possible night slash foul play and Faint attack need nicknames? its a purely Zoroark + Zoroark breed but i've EV'd the dads speed and attack a little if you want me to keep on of its stats


was thinking of having a team of Rampardos Zoroark Haxorus Charizard and a Glaceon not sure what to get as a 6th tho i was looking at a Lucario

I've been running a Volcarona on my team and haven't been able to figure out what kind of item to give it, what do you with it item wise?

Life Orb, same as most sweepers that need any type of setup (Quiver Dance in this case). You could run it with a rest set or a setup to play on it's slight bulk, but I don't think either one will be as effective as a Life Orb+Quiver setup. The biggest thing to keep in mind with Volcarona is to keep a rapid spinner on your team, because if someone sets up Stealth Rock and you can't clear it off the field, Volc is as crippled as Charizard by it.

Just beat the game and opened up the national pokedex.

Question since this is the first time ive played a pokemon since the original red. If I pick up another game to start swinging old pokemon towards my white cartridge, is the gold/silver options the best ones to pick up first? Seems so since i was told beating them opened up the older areas, including access to the older pokemon.

Also, can anyone swing a bred charmander my way. Male? Thatd be sweet. I can work on the rest of the old ones. Getting a nostalgia one now would be pretty awesome.

Heart Gold/Soul Silver is the best one to pick up if you aren't concerned with Diamond and Plat's legendaries. They've got the most complete rosters available in terms of shit you can catch or pick up via the pokewalker. As for Charmander, I can breed one a little later if you want, kind of working on a bunch of shit around the house atm, but I should be able to churn one out in short order before the end of the night.
