since i'm after Lucario as my 6th i breed one with HJK and Blaze kick other two moves i'm thinking are Aura Sphere and dragon pulse or should i pick something else?


Giant chasm end game pretty common once your around the grass area

No point in having two fighting moves. If you're going for physical, do Close Combat.

I'd pick Ice Punch over Blaze Kick, but that's just a matter of preference really like everything else.

I just got the game yesterday, trying to catch a Sawk right now and go do the 2nd gym. When does the game open up to wi fi trades and who wants to give me a nice poke to play with?

Right now I'm using the middle-tier Water starter, a Electric zebra guy with what appear to be meh stats, the fire monkey, and everyone I've seen so far has been caught.

Any general suggestions for teams, types, etc would be appreciated. Black version btw

After the first gym I think wifi is open, all the monkeys suck, Zebrstika stats are good but moveset sucks, If you want I have some bred pokeys i might just throw away

Golem and Gigalith are both terrible, the only things that might've been vaguely redeeming qualities to either would've been Explosion/Self Destruct, but with the nerfs to those attacks in Gen V they're both putrid.

IIRC, Explosion/SD used to cut the opposing pokes' defense in half, causing the power of the moves to basically double, but it doesn't anymore.

for the first 3 i was just cross matching there Kanto and unova counterparts then the last 3 we're close match up type wise

only fight i'd "wonder" about would be infernape vs Emboar since there attack is the same but emboar is better defensively and Infernape is faster

It used to totally ignore defense. It's checked against defense now, so it's nowhere near as useful as it was.

Oh they got rid of the 1/2 def thing? I knew about that but I didn't know they got rid of it this gen. Wow that really hurts how useful those attacks are.

lol, my ferroseed with rocky helmet keeps accidentally killing wild pokes that im trying to catch whenever they use fury swipes or another multi-hit.

Also, man, the power jump after beating the elite four for the first time was crazy. "Oh, sup level 65s, while i'm at 55".. Managed to get two to 57, but man does it take a while to try and grind.
... I ran into a level69 Basculin in the Challenger's cave. Wat.
