As for Moxie.. 0.1 is incorrect. It raises your attack by a full stage, just like Bulk Up or Dragon Dance would raise your attack by 1 stage. If I remember right.. it's either a 50% boost for one stage, or 75%. Not sure on the specifics right now.

It should be 50% since shell smash and the like double the stat.

Think of your normal stats before changes as 3/3 (three thirds). A positive stage increases the numerator by the number of stages, a negative one increases the denominator. So if you use Shell Smash with a defense and attack of 100 each, afterward you'd have 75 defense (3/4 normal value) and 166 attack (5/3 normal value).

After winning a battle, there is a chance that the Pokerus will spread to a Pokemon "next" to it in the lineup. It can go "up" or "down" or just in one direction if it is the first/last Pokemon in the line.

tl;dr put it in the middle of your team and fight wild pokes.

I keep forgetting to comment on this, so I will now that I'm here. That's finals week & when I move back home for the summer. Considering the wi-fi here is sketchy at best, I'd be able to battle from the 10th or 11th on reliably, but not so certain about anything before then.

That would be correct, they have 31's in their best stats. Axew for example has 31 Atk and 31 Speed, and one other iirc.

Right, I had the fraction wrong. It's only 3/3 for accuracy and evasion, 2/2 for other stuff.

I think I put as much work into pokemon maths as I did in ffxi math. 250 def/spdef is my colobri. Can't wait for DW; I'm either going to make my own original team or help my friend build his rain team. (Drizzle toed, forretress, DragonBro, scizor, jolteon, gyrados/kingdra)
