I think you're stressing out too much over your self-diagnosis and now you're casting everything you do in terms of it. Just go out and do something new, get some exercise, stop spending all your money on unappreciative friends, go buy something for yourself instead.

I like buying things for friends who are "less fortunate" too, but when you do that you have to find the delight in the giving, not the appreciation. That's why I usually cast things in terms of "oh it's an early birthday present", so they don't feel too overwhelmed by it and unsure of how to respond. Of course if they're turning around and being dickheads to you when you're not buying them stuff then those aren't the people you should be getting things for.

The only person I buy big gifts for are typically females whom I like which I only do if I'm sure I'm not weirding them out. I am like.. diligent in making sure its not too creepy. Guys on the other hand kinda abuse it and get free food out of me like "Oh shit I forgot my wallet" type stuff.
