dude's been around on bahamut awhile, he's probably graced this thread. he got a lot of shit after he finally finished gungnir and shaped up(read: used haste gear) then reverted back to this apparently lol. everything fulltimed, granted on trash mobs i'm pretty sure he uses this gear for everything else

don't know why my gear is such an issue, but here we go:

First and foremost I am NOT the RMT unspeakable. I started on Remora and was an officer in SP. I went to BG when transfers opened. I later left for Garuda and was in SA. I quit for a while when everyone got banned for salvage duping. I will be the first to say I'm not the greatest ffxi player, but I know how to play my jobs. I have plenty of people to back me up on that. I was in some pretty awesome shells, and I'd imagine they'd give me the boot for sucking rather than giving me E.body, or Mars's Ring, or fund salvage pieces (shout out to Sapere Aude!)

second of all, I didn't lose a single Royal Ramble. You guys must be talking about a different group. we got a gondo, 2 destroyers, a coffinmaker, and 2 dissectors. maybe people in my group wiped before, but it certainly wasnt when I was in the group.

WTF does it matter what I'm wearing in RR??? it's not a hard fight. I kited the RDM mob around. I happened to forget my macua+1. I took out the hauteclaire to tank the WHM once I finished kiting and killing RDM.

I also don't have atonement yet, because everyone I did nyzul with got BANHAMMERZ. it's something I'm working on, but again, it's hard to do nyzul with /sh retards.

because they needed someone to kite the RDM cardian. it worked. I held the RDM until BLM was dead. then I tanked the RDM. then the WHM.

could I go as something better? maybe WAR/NIN? I dunno. it doesnt matter though, PLD did what it was supposed to do.

Maybe, but PLD offers better hate management. + rampart & fealty does wonders for the 3 mage mobs.

I did go as DRK the first run, but our RDM cured me while I was holding the RDM, peeling hate off... then dying.

the RDM should of come /NIN. RDM could of kited the RDM mob, and I come a DD to make things faster in retrospect. but w/e our way worked/

again, it's not like we were fighting an HNM, 4 DD + RDM + PLD was a fine setup. Wins were smooth, people died less with a PLD in the mix. so what does it matter.

I have casted a wide variety of magic on the cardians from elemental nukes to enfeebles and have had a nin/drk kite and tank the king and use stun and we always won, no rage.

Not really sure what you are trying to say..? It was an example, they were using stun occasionally as hate tool/etc. You have to fight the mob after you kite it obviously, they just felt like coming on nin.

12 ATT > -1 VIT for Jump I would assume. I didn't DRG in parties much but my Jump macro had all the attack and DA I could put into it and some ACC and a little VIT. I never worried about a Jump set enough to get any new gear specifically for it though.

Any time I've seen more than elegy cast on them, they rage like mother fuckers.

This discussion came up in a previous thread, man when I get my new PC this week im gonna fraps that bitch and show it lol. I really am not lying, I cast a lot of spells on them and they don't rage. Only time I have seen them rage is when they have already 2h'rd and there is an extended time after that, like you took too long to kill or you wipe which has happened with noob PUG's I joined.

The King shows odd hate patterns. despite me being the ONLY one acting on it, the king cardian would stop chasing me and go for the melees that were killing the BLM. The Melee obviously weren't acting on the RDM cardian.

as PLD I would engage at the start. get a few melee hits in, shield bash, then kite. if the King went for melees, I'd cure them, or myself.

WAR has what? provoke? warcry? not much to do if the cardian decides to attack someone else.

I casted stun a few times when I was DRK, no rage mode. dunno. maybe it's a random chance to go rage.
