I think Despain's going for the using Rampage angle, not the damage dealt by it. I'd rate the Cure 1 as the bigger fail here though.

But seriously, this is why point systems exist. I'd say any system that attaches a long list of requirements to being able to get an item is infinitely worse than one that lets a gimp point-buy a Ridill (or whatever) over someone who can make better use of it but has less points.

most normal parties you get leveling up will probably force you to need /nin anyways so really isn't a big deal using axe as long as you don't suck imo. Especially considering that party was probably lower than 60 so no RR.

I just don't understand you guys sometimes. Yes it may be true that he deserved the E body and he is working on swift belt and is having awful luck, I can see that. But normally you guys are all over something like this. Idk it just seems weird to me to have seemingly hypocritical views like this. I have no issue with someone not having a swift and deserving something like an e body based on attendance but that doesn't make his Headlong any less gimp. Fuck Stephano had one and you all fucking flipped your shit at it but now noone seems to care.

Obviously a point system shouldn't have a list of requirements to obtain an item but how do we know a more deserving melee didn't get an e body and this gimp did? If you are gonna assume he deserved it why can't you also assume he didn't and his LS is retarded?

Also that party is obviously level 70, look at the screenshot. When I first leveled warrior I did it back when dual axes or manny/joyeuse was the only way to go and anything else would get you booted from parties, and it was before the 2 hand update so I used axes the whole time. But now a days there really is no excuse unless you are just skilling up, which you should do out of party anyway.

On the swift belt topic, I'm 2:1! On my first char, the guy who was supposed to win it had full inv so it auto dropped to me cuz I forgot to pass lol, and then went 1/1 on my next char HUZZAH

If it was the result of a point system, then the "more deserving" melee had less points, or something else within the rules let the "less" deserving melee have the item first. Either way, as long as the rules are being followed, the system is working perfectly fairly.

Yeah I know that is true but my point is that in the time it takes between getting WAR to 75 getting an E body and getting a Ridill that guy should have been able to get a swift belt at least. Since he hasn't yet to me that means he isn't trying to improve and means he doesn't deserve what he has gotten.

I actually never owned a swift belt on Sath. Koga Sarashi -> Vbelt. I got Swift on Valk then Vbelt like a month later, meh.
