Question for people who have been banned, or know someone personally who has:

What methods do SE employ in the banning? I've heard all kinds of rumors:

- All accounts on the credit card (or have ever been used with the card)
- All accounts associated with the address
- All accounts assoicated with the name
- All accounts linked to the SE id
- The mac address/IP range of the banned account.


I'll be brutally honest with you. There are some fun things I want to try with windower v4, including stuff that could be fun for you guys, but I don't want to risk losing my mythic weapon account while developing.

Any info would be appreciated.

I had 2 accounts when i was banned. Different cc (though they've both used the same credit card in the past, and a few days after i was banned i switched my second account to the cc my banned account was using).

Both accounts had the same address, but different names.

Both accounts were linked with the same SE id, and i later added a third to it.

I had used 4 different accounts within the previous week of me getting banned (probably the same day actually).

Only my one account was banned. As far as i know, you should be fine, as long as the current ccs aren't the same.

How do you know that? Moreover, how do you know how much squid sushi has? I haven't seen tests of either, although by experience I know they both do provide racc.

I WS with 470 racc in gears as rng/nin on Dark Ixion without any food/buffs. Pot-au-feu gets me around ~85%racc, squid sushi around 90%.

Which is great except that a 5.0% CI requires 195 WS @95% confidence and 2.5% CI requires 755.

In short, unless you've done 800+ WS of each, at exactly the same distance with exactly the same gears, buffs and debuffs, there may be no difference at all. And if you've done less, done so with slugwinder at different TP levels, and especially if your distance varied between the two, the results are not just unreliable, but could be just the opposite.

We do know pot gives us racc and we know it's significant. We don't know how much or if it caps and if so where.

I have always believed that ugg pendant worked on nukes taking you below 50% so i think earring would work same way.

Ugly does work that way, but i don't think sorc earring does. I could be wrong though. Should be quick enough to test, using a cactaur.

Any good low man ish strategy for Scouting the Ashu Talif? My friends and I are looking to farm the pup parts but I couldn't find anything via the search function. The wiki pages are pretty hazy so any firsthand experience/tips would be greatly appreciated

I haven't dipped much into the Magian Weapons thread, but what would be best for a non-pet-related final weapon? Mantis or the Wargfangs? I know the OAT shit only activates on one attack, but I don't know if they still compare to my Kenkonkenless and Shenlongless PUP, still using NQ Hades. With the increase of H2H skill, I figured I could get away with the stat-less but beefy Mantis' dmg/delay.

P.S. I mostly solo T~VT~NMs~etc. on my PUP. Not a whole lot else lately. (Most top-end PUP gear, usukane and such, except no Faith Torque)

Did I test it right? If I did I think the earring thing isn't true? As in I was going to be taken to red, and it didnt proc.

You need to conduct about 4650 samples in order to account for potential lag derived from the game. Otherwise, your first 100 samples may only report instances in which lag prevents the earring from triggering. It would be best conduct them at 400HP since there's two of you. Just have the other guy raise and heal you up for each test.

According to that SS it didn't proc, and unless Uggly pendant only works in such a manner sometimes (afaik it works all the time when used properly) then I think it's safe to say Sorc earring doesn't work unless you're already in the red.

Well, to be honest, I'm not caring much for increased survivability as I am for just best damage-output. For a PUP, with no kick attacks, no Double Attack traits, only Aesir Mantle + Brutal Earring for any Double Attack potential at all. Assuming 95% accuracy, is the math in favor of Mantis or Wargfangs?
