I should have checked the link before asking that...
Has anyone who uses guest accounts ever seen an issue where the Auto-Disconnect/Language Filter options get changed back to default for no apparent reason? Seems to mostly occur when teleporting/warping, but I can't reproduce it consistently and would like to avoid whatever it is that causes it.
Can anybody give me a detailed strategy/gear needed to solo ODS as RDM/BLU? If there is anything specific I need to have besides the usual stuff that I've seen people wearing in the videos.
My BLU is only 30 if that matters, never got around to finish levelling it and I never use it. I don't have a PDT- set aside from Genbu's Shield (yes yes I know, other things I need to buy first though). I have Death Blossom, if that would be better than Vorpal Blade.
Never done it before but I'm going to assume a basic PDT set with darksteel/+1 gear should be a good start.
Edit: after watching the video I don't see much if any PDT gear besides shield on said rdm. Must be a lot easier with maxed phalanx/fast cast stoneskin.
BLu sub doesn't really matter much past 8/16 (yay autoregen), so i wouldn't worry about that. I mean sure, more mp/hp, and other stats, whatever.
Definitely get a cheviot cape, and jelly ring. Honestly, i'm not sure how much darksteel is going to help, since they don't hit terribly hard anyway, and it would lower your damage, and taking longer to kill at the start means having more scorps on you longer. It probably wouldn't hurt too much, and might even help, but meh. A -100% interrupt set probably wouldn't hurt to have either.
I've never actually cared to solo ods, but it's my understanding that it's not terribly hard. As long as you got a bit of pdt gear, tacos, and some ice spikes, it shouldn't be too hard.
For the Level 75 Merited Blood Pacts, which are generally the best/most used ones?
I've heard that Wind Blade, Grand Fall and Heavenly Strike are all good, but I'm assuming that It's best to cap 2 of them instead of a 3/3/4 type build. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
To clear some things up, I solo fortitude on /nin. (486 Chakra + capped invigorate merits, so don't rly need watlz or anything else rly. It's rare I get hit anyways, but I do r0 a lot)
As for the dat swap, it was chocobo jig. I was helping a friend camp argus for his amulet. I didn't get temp banned, but the guy there called a GM on me, as the movement was very apparent and noticeable. He slipped up and said he called GM in /say instead of /tell to his friend, so I logged off, swapped the dats back and logged back in.
Lmao at that combination sig CS. Well done.

Whats a good strategy for ASA final fight? Just did with RDM WHM BRD SAM SAM WAR and failed twice. Could be because our WHM was really slow with cures and -nas but any other good strategies out there?
I had just done that fight with SMN SMN SMN PUP(me lol) WAR BRD
WAR/NIN tried to deal with White, but she wouldn't really move much and kept going back to Dark to do her AoE WS and fuck everything up. I wouldn't recommend PUP at all because after a few Garudas died and were resummoned, Dartk's hate would not come back off of my Automaton and it just ate WS after WS until it was down. We won with that setup but it was sloppy as shit.
2 WHMs, 3 DDs, BRD
Enter, buff, BRD troubs some songs. On engage, BRD tries to hold hate on White Shantotto, which basically consists of casting Elegy and standing far away from Dark Shantotto. DD pull Dark shantotto into the tunnel/towards the entrance. They'll still run together, but at least you're making her run. DD waste Dark Shantotto, maybe you wipe after killing her and maybe you don't. Don't wipe without killing her, and she won't die until she leaves 2-hour mode iirc so stick some DoT on it. If you do wipe, wipe together towards the entrance.
Then either just move on to Light shantotto or rest up and then move on to Light Shantotto.
I did this strategy with 2 WHM/SCHs, a BRD/WHM, a SAM, a WAR, and a Tav Taco eating THF, so it should work for pretty much any group.
Just got trial 159, and need to kill 300 cluster bombs. Any suggestions on which location to fight these and any strategy for them? Or is solo out of the question?
Mount-Z, pretty much at the staging point. Take a mage friend. Either that or go to CoP capped zones. Options are very limited.
Can someone link me to the image that shows when SE is changing stuff with the next couple updates? It shows like:
---------1st Update----------2nd Update-------...etc
|
Level cap to 80, etc.
This one?
Spoiler: show
Also, do campaign zones only turn over in power once a week like conquest zones? Or is it whenever someone gains enough power there?
