Does slow+ on hundred fists do anything or is it just a static 74%, like haste+ having no effect.

Looks like I did test it at 74%. I have helm, I'll go run a quick test now it. Just gonna do base /w a Staff -> SP /w Staff + Helm(Slow+5%). (If It shows slow is taking affect, I'll run another test when SP is back up to see if wearing BB or something negates the slow.)
Alright, cool. Also, there's a str 4 slow+ something and double attack+2% feet piece, if the slow doesn't effect 2hr, may have a competitor w/ dune boots for 2hr.
dune boots better than usukane for HF? i'd always been under the impression you needed 5% haste to cap during hundred fists, but meh.
To preface this, I started /w Kinkobo (412 Delay). When I ran my base test, I got 420.7 Delay. (Naked 75MNK/37DNC). So I tried my Fourth Staff (366 Delay), and got 374.2 Delay. Tested again, and got 376.2 Delay. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem to matching up better like it used to. Regardless, for this test, it should suffice since we're looking for a ratio comparison. I did 2 hundred fists, to make sure.
Fourth Staff:
10x Attacks - 1933 Frames = 193.3 Frames/Attack
10x Attacks - 1943 Frames = 194.3 Frames/Attack
Avg - 193.8 Frames/Attack
Hundred Fists /w Fourth Staff:
20x Attacks - 965 Frames = 48.25 Frames/Attack
Hundred Fists /w Fourth Staff + Orc Helm(Slow +5%)
20x Attacks - 964 Frames = 48.2 Frames/Attack
Haste Present:
48.2 Frames/193.8 Frames = 24.87% (75.13%)
If the Slow+5% was taking effect you'd see:
.3 * 193.8 Frames = 58.14 Frames per attack. Thats an extra 10 frames per attack, which is fairly hard to miss after 20 attacks.
I feel confidant in saying the slow+5% is ignored during Hundred Fists, as are all forms of Haste Eq/Spell.

BST merits: Killer Effects any good? I love the free para procs before having them tricked out at all, I can picture another 5% procs being really nice.
What's good in category 2?
Is there a minimum level for unlocking trial weapons in sync? Working on Detonator and Leaden Salute, and want to do it by syncing a with a lvl 10 mule.
There is only fatal flaw in this plan: Shitty pickup mages.
After tagging along a few pickup byakkos in the past, I would never waste my own popset on it unless I had friends from my ls making up most of the tank party.
Also @ Stephano: Yeah, 4 weeks is fuck all. That's like a trial period in a real linkshell. If they're a semi-casual event shell, haiadate is probably gonna be quite a big deal. It would be like joining a HNM shell, passing your month trial and expecting abody off your first nid/aspi/odin.
Yes, -infinity.
It's not improvements to be made to your slug gear. Basically there's a flat pdif range where adding +ratt does nothing for your damage, both slug and normal shots. If you fired normal shots in that set, you'd find they all hit for the same number too. Untill you add enough +Ratt to get out of this flat zone, +Str or +Agi (WS) is the only way to up it's damage.
What is likely happening in your instance is that you're at the tail end of this flat pdif range, and adding 1 minuet is not enough to push you through and out the otherside, whereas the more potent chaos roll is.
This is the problem with the system. Going to events for 4 hours a day for a month is ~120 hours helping the shell. In 120 hours at 100k/hr(which can be made by anyone, as conservative as it gets) you make 12mil. That's enough to buy BOTH an abody and byakko's.
Also, dude who joined my shell this week has gotten a pair of haidate and a dchap in 3 days :s The problem is shells that have backup on those items because they recruit en masse.
Just did Splitting Heirs, wiki lists 4 mobs (main NM and 3 adds), but we only ever had 2 adds spawn (Slitherword and Gorepledge). Something I'm missing?
I don't really understand how Synergy works, I wasn't playing when it was added, etc. Now with that out of the way:
Do I need any actual Synergy skill to get something Synergized for me? Like let's say I want a Shikkoku Togi, can I just dumb the Aptant & Harness in the pot and let other people with the appropriate skills Synergize for me?
