that works too, again I'm not a coder so dunno what's easiest. But yes I think if we want to be successful we can't wait for the game to go live before putting stuff up, even if we have to constantly change info as the game changes.

Absolutely can't. At the latest, information needs to be going up during open beta (if/when it happens). A password protected site, or something that is just kept private, would probably be ideal. Yes, we're not supposed to, but that clearly isn't stopping a lot of information from going out there anyway.

Password protected site will be best since even with the old BGwiki templates, new ones will be needed for things like weapons, since they're drastically different from FFXI weaponry.

EDIT: Who's actually in charge of the current wiki anyways? (aka how hard is it to set up another protected XIV wiki)
