fat sandwiches mainly come from trucks on the rutgers campus in new brunswick, which is about 100 miles north of wildwood.

Also was wondering, Iremire and I are pretty much professional singers so we were wondering if there was a karaoke place ha
Other than the boardwalk and pier there isn't much to do in Wildwood, unless things have changed in the past 5-6 years. I also hope you like pizza, cheesesteaks, and frozen custard because thats pretty much all there is to eat there.
There was one a few blocks away from the beach which I'm sure is still there. I used to load up on crap there too and grill out on the deck of the house we stayed at every night.
When you go down.. You have to have Mack's Pizza.. It's a pretty big staple down there. Also, have Paul's Fries. They're incredible. I can't wait for every season to start just so I can rush down and indulge in some boardwalk food.
Otherwise, there's a lot of different sandwiches (italian sausage, meatball, etc.) places around like Hot Spot. They're good for that stuff, but not much else. If you get a chance, go to Duffer's for dinner and ice cream. They're food is pretty decent and their ice cream is incredible. Also, if you want ice cream another night, go to Sea Shell at the end of the boardwalk near the Convention Center. (Both Duffers and Sea Shell are off the boardwalk down the Convention Center side.)
New Roller Coaster opens at the end of May.. so there's some rides and such. Hit the water park up for a day, hit the beach (even if it is a hike and a half to the water). I'll try to think up some other stuff if you still want some ideas..
Also, there is an Acme down there. And a Walgreens and a bunch of other places to pick up food and necessities. There is also a Shop Right and a Wal Mart right outside of Wildwood in Rio Grande.
Also 6 flags is about an hour and a half away. Worth the trip if you get bored of the boardwalk after the first few nights.
So I see you got yourself a situation...
HURRRRRRRRRRRR C WUT I DID THER
Thanks :D Yeah we figured at least one of the nights we would want to just stay home or stay away from the boardwalk for a little break. Definitely wanted to go to the water park for a one of our days there. Think our house is 2 blocks from the beach and we were looking to play some volleyball (yeah I know lol) if there are nets up around the beach not to sure how that works out if we need to bring our own or what not.
Beware: if you go to 6 flags there's like a 90% probability that kingda Ka isn't working.
Kingda Ka sucks, Nitro > * but whatever they call repainted Medusa is a close second.
Bizzaro or some shit. Also El Toro is a shitload of fun, but not worth the line. Nitro>El Toro=Medusa.
One ore thing I know local beer is a big thing around most bars in NC as I'm such it is in NJ. Any recommendations for a any type of good beer/drinks?
It is incredibly varied from bar to bar what they'll have, most places will have a bar menu describing what special orders they have from breweries. I can't recommend anything in particular because I have no idea what beers are "only jersey"
I would be more specific but I know nothing of Wildwood, other than we went there after our prom years ago and one guy shit/pissed/vomited all over a chair he was sitting in then passed out.
Go somewhere else
i would have also voted for go somewhere else
get a house in belmar for a week instead, good bars, good food, better beaches too
