I would love to, but my account got jacked a few months back and SE is "Investigating" wether the account was under my control or not when it was "Suspect of RMT activities"...
I'd kill for my character back, but with the knowledge that I probably wont ever see him again makes me want to gouge out my eyes thinking about it...so I will sit here and wait for XIV instead of wasting anytime even atempting to make a new character. I bled well over 5 years into that character and SE can't look to see that The IP I use in CANADA is nowhere near the new IP probably somewhere in China -_-
If anything XIV news just makes me want to play XIV even more, and it's killing my knowing it's still a long way away!

I don't have a PS3 sadly. Mostly due to no money and I haven't seen anything in the library that really makes me want one other than the fact I can DL and play PSX classics on it.
Besides that, my PC's motherboard is pretty out of date according to my friend. I can't put a processor in it that's good enough to play XIV.

Nah, I lagged at the installer screen. And my framerate was pretty horrid on character creation.
When the retail is out it MIGHT work. But yeah my friend said get rid of this ASAP.

But I did buy a PS3 in anticipation of having to spend a shitload to upgrade/replace my PC.

I am hoping once I get a job and some money I can convince my sister to give me ~300 dollars for the PC and monitor in hopes to push me closer for a new PC. Then maybe 25ish more if she wants my printer so I can get a wireless one. Originally Posted by Kotomi

I've actually used one of those monitors before and they're pretty good for the pricetag. I honestly however don't know about $375.
In all honesty, I'd go for max $325-350 just because of A) A lot of people don't like Compaq, B) it's an older PC compared to today's standards.
But yeah, slapping an extra 50 or so on it for that monitor sounds about right.

the info about ff14 and the level cap raise for ff11 made me sign up again. I merited twice in a month and thats about it

I logged back into XI after a week away (tend to leave myself logged in for days on end while AFK - have been offline due to a big download running) after seeing the screenies from 14 and my first thought was "fuck this game's looking tired".
I believe I may have sucessfully burnt myself out on the virtual crack that is FFXI!
