Has the recent info about XIV made you want to play XI again?

FFXIV being announced made my "Home boys" quit because they felt that anything they do was wasted with FFXIV coming.

I still "play" though all I do is talk to LS in my MH or help my friend's shell kill stuff every once in a while.

i left ffxi about 7-8months ago and have been fighting the urge to come back. main reason i didnt go back is i lost my character which i put years of work into so that was a good reason not to do it all again but im so hyped for FF14.. and im allready 100% done with ff13

im sick of modern warfare 2 lol i need ffxiv now!

No, for my own good. Won't get fucking anything done anymore if I get addicted to that goddamn game again (and I know I will, I still have friends playing). I'll wait till XIV.

FF14 did not make me come back the update details, add-ons, lvl cap, new avatars, new spells and such are what made me come back.

I dont merit anymore and what little time I have I do HNMs with my linkshell or crafting/quests and such.

so no FF14 details did not bring me back really. I know most of what I do wont mean anything so I am in it just for the fun. Maybe I will get a few items but my jobs are done for the most part.

Without lvling anything nothing much more to do.

My account's been active for quite some time now without me even touching it, but after the recent days I've definitely felt tempted to return to the game while waiting for FFXIV. Haven't played a MMORPG for a very long time now and I sure miss it from time to time.

i really miss playing a good mmorpg like ffxi, i loved ff13 but even that i completed faster than i thought and got bored of it. least with ffxi theres allways something to do and your neve gonna really complete it. carnt wait for ff14 gonna be fun

Not really, I expect XIV to be playable in smaller chunks. The main thing that gets to me about XI is being able to play for 6-8 hours and still feel like you got nothing significant done.

I was in between the first two options. I actually voted the 2nd option. I would like to go back and finish storylines and stuff, and I recently really wanted to play THF/DNC for whatever reason, but I know I can't stand the gameplay of the game. And I'd be back to staring at my Mog in no time at all. So I stop myself before I even look for my cd's.

Definitely considered playing again. My girlfriend's parents bought me the xbox version of FFXI for Christmas thinking it was a typical FF game and not an MMO, I'm glad to say it's still wrapped, just waiting for XIV.

If it were going to be easier to level sub/secondary jobs, maybe. If that, and it were easier to get a relic, then I'd want to play again.

Otherwise, too much grind to play with the kinds of builds I'd want to have fun with, and the raise in the level cap just sounds like even more grind beyond that. The gameplay is so dated, I'd have to be able to play with different builds a lot more freely to have fun with it.

FFIX is rad, i hated the tiny characters, but it is one of the best FF's.

I bought XIII and sold it on craigslist two days later. I think i was in denial about SE making a game with crappy gameplay.

I quit XI two years ago after finishing skadi... which didnt make sense. I never erally used it. I was pissed about wings of goddess, and as far as i know they still havnt concluded that damn expansion.
