Has the recent info about XIV made you want to play XI again?

6 server transfers later I still play, albeit not as much. The level cap increase took the wind out of my sails, yet I exclusively do endgame content now. I am now what I said I would never be, a scab that sits at camps doing the "Robot" and looking fly with all my level 75 gear. I already know that once the cap increases, I will not have the ambition to get all the best 99 gear, because by the time that shit rolls around, 14 should be close to coming out. I cannot wait for 14 so I can quit this damn game for good.

Bah. I wanted to a year ago. But forgot my p/w and I call up EU support to get it back and they tell me its American account. Then I call up american support and tell me its and EU account (I am in Australia) and when i call them back they say "no "other region" support must be wrong"

So i gave up. And now its not worth it.

I voted yes - Frantically dug around for my discs yesterday after reading all the XIV stuff and being hit by a wave of nostalgia... then I realised I couldn't find my security token anyway so there's that idea quashed.

Probably for the best - I stripped my char of most gear when I quit, so I'd be a half naked gimpy Mithra. Not to mention I don't need another MMO addiction ;(

I reactived my account when i heard about the update coming in June at vanafest.

Wasn't long until I realised why I quit :D, will leave the subsciption open for hopes that it could improve my chance of getting in the 14 beta though.

Ive been playing XI since 02, and no more than a total of 6 months worth of breaks, and if anything XIV info makes me want to quit. In fact ive probably only played a couple times this past month.

Well, I finally caved and re-activated. I was surprised to find a handful of friends still playing. Don't have much gil on this char so I will mostly be spending time fishing for moats and leveling BST or BLM solo. Just something to pass the time.

i'm more tempted to reactivate not because of FFXIV, but because i miss XI and i've finally gotton sick of WoW enough to stop it... again. 1 year of WoW i've gone off-again on-again more times than 3.5 years of FFXI.

i'll prolly cave soon.

I think the only reason why id go back is to try and solo more stuff as thief at level 99... but why get new gear? I agree with most others, we would soon realize XI is just a borked game.
