Not that I have any idea what you're talking about, but how is casting twenty barspells in a minute difficult? They're essentially instant-cast, and you have enough of them for the recast to be irrelevant. One spell every three seconds isn't the least bit remarkable.
And you're suggesting a crit-build that requires dropping significant amounts of haste and STP. My opinion isn't clashing with you, logic and reasoning are clashing with you.
Go back to lurking.
eh, diabolic eye? i swear i could cap on birds sans food on drk.
*edit*
Mattypoo how bout i come back and we get twin Ragnaroks
Scythe shouldn't have an issue capping, that'd be correct.
And I'm still upset with you for quitting without consulting me.
night fall+sword strap=>431 delay=>431/60*6=43.1s
-55% haste=>43.1*.45=19.395=>6tic=> need to get 94TP 23stp= /sam rajas brutal, WT
-80% haste (25 gear hasso ,samba spell songs)=>8.62s=2tic=>98TP =>28STP=> /sam rajas brutal aurum
no good? (dont need to get a full hit- to consider regain, see also that you wont waste slot for stp)
Its because 20 barspells a minute is impossible. You speak from lack of experience just like the last time we butted heads. It almost sounds like you always speak without actually trying things based on your theory and are quick to dismiss shit. Go try it. Inherent spells delays prevent this from happening. I've already tested it... and for your information you'll be gravely dissappointed in the disparity of your paper theory versus real results.
I said i was a fan. I don't have a ragnarok. I posted potential crit percentages and said it may be great for high defense mobs. Everyone knows Haste is shit without buffs to back it up since the majority of gain is from having a total accumulated haste. In a DD party on a challenging NM there aren't alot of spaces for buffers. Do people continue to Double March with one Bard and Double minuet with the other? Or do they begin to leverage COR for Chaos with Double minuet? Its great that you've escalated your opinion to the level of "Logic and Reasoning"... that almost sounds like some Natural Law in physics.
Nobody gives attack buffs in lieu of marches on anything. That's idiotic. If your DD are suffering because you're not getting the buffs necessary to make them do what they're there to do, you need to drop a DD and make them come support.
And regardless, GKT and GS are made for situations like that.
Did I mention go back to lurking? Because, go back to lurking.
He wasn't asking for clarification, he was subtly telling you that you're an idiot.
Did you read the part where I said SA Spinning does like 300 on Gurf with buffs. And like 50 damage without SA. Thats +1 pDIF Spinning with Ratio boost. This shows that the majority of the damage is coming from the actual crit.
Good thing GKT and GS fail on situations like that.
Tidbit of side info for those that don't know Wheeling SA in the same situation dominates with its ignore defense of 700+.
Maybe you should take a look at the way you post and decide maybe that its actually you that is the troll being an ass and all.
What Tsuko said. Stacking attack has diminishing returns and stacking haste has increasing returns. Dropping Marches for Chaos Roll plus the roll of your choice instead of dropping Minuets is idiotic.
EDIT: Also, Spinning Slash, Ground Strike, YGK, and Steel Cyclone (I miss any?) get a pDIF boost even without SA's forced crit.
Did I ever say All situations? I gave Examples where its potentially useful on ToAU Kings with mass defense. This is an MMO where new NMs are introduced and people with open minds can potentially employ ideas to mobs in the future. JOL can be another mob with mass defense.
Maybe review my posts. My initial Post said I'm a fan and I wrote out that crit% with various gear could potentially get pretty high and might be good for High defense mobs.
Stacking attack has diminishing returns as your pDIF increases past a certain point. If you haven't hit that point then it is still viable.
Case and point. In dynamis Xarcabard where the demons have high defense, we tested a parse one time with two different groups. 1 with Double March double minuet versus Double Minuet and Chaos. The group with Double Minuet and Chaos pulled ahead. There are many factors such as gear and food but for the attack buff group to pull ahead is enough to say that its situational.
