Oh and I sorta hoped Allied Ring dropped from this or opened up when the BCNM was unlocked as a global prize but yeah....

Maybe when the Throne Room fortifications get reduced to 0 from all the Shadow Lord beatdown?

I don't see SE making the reward for WotG a consumable.

Though I guess they could make it rechargeable with Allied Notes.

If you are defending and the region is under your control, then you have to diaga all the mobs away from the forts and kite them with movement speed so that you will never the lose the zone. (We were picking them off 1 at a time from the forts instead of grabbing them all at the same time and that results in you killing mobs cleanly but also losing the battle because they destroyed your fortifications.)

As an alternative, if you can get the un-sleepable NM(s) away, a pair of BLMs on Sleepga rotation can keep the rest under control while the mobs get picked off one by one. However, this last part has to be coordinated, otherwise random people (and NPCs) whacking on slept mobs will just get the BLMs killed.

I suspect the practial purpose of the Samudra staff was to assist in this type of crowd control (Sleep + M. Def/Evasion down). Wonder what the priority on spell over-writing is for Tartarus Torpor.

If it applies like sleep bolts the damage from the weapon skill will be applied, waking any targets in range and then re-sleeping any targets that the additional effect procs on. In short Tartarus Torpor will overwrite any sleep spell assuming proc.

Now that the last campaign Ops have just been released. I'm wondering if the allied ring is a reward for beating all the campaign Ops. Streetsweeper (S,B, or W) for example would only have to be beaten on your nations, not from all 3 nations.

Maybe all the Ops that yield exp and allied notes though. So the 3 stronghold + Throne room bcnm would not be required, but the Castles campaign ops would need to be completed since those give Allied notes and exp.
Kinda hope this is not the case with the allied ring but seeing as I doubt it will drop from a coffer for one person to cast lots on and win, this might be the next best guess.

I still don't see why i should get an exp ring as reward from an event that is the complete opposite of making exp by traditional means. The only connection seems to be in the name (Allied Ring <-> Allied Notes). On the other hand i'm running out of ideas where that ring might come from. Maybe some seasonal event that is still to be released in the next months?

For helping the allied forces of altana with their allied campaign Ops?
I counted 30 different campaign ops not including the same Op with a different Number at the end of it and not including the 4 BCNMs which give no allied notes or exp.

They are adding new items to medal of altana in june according to playonline.com but i wouldn't understand why they would put the allied ring in this updates .DATs instead of june's update so I will rule out a future update.
It is currently obtainable somehow unless its for the crystal war event this year. (The one that gave us the sunglasses with -20 acc.) or some other in game event.

Forgot to mention that the campaign Ops are not all available in 1 tally(which you reminded me of). Some need control of a certain region and some are unlocked when your entire nation votes a specific way on the "voting NPC" by the "left Auction house window". Would have to actually be lucky to even get all the campaigns in the first place, then to beat them. Sure hope it don't come from OPs.

Wiki doesn't have the body and head added added to the list of shadow lord drops when its obvious they drop from him. So its possible allied ring can still be a (bad drop) from the BCNM.
So far it seems like the Shadow lord Head and body are also very bad drop rates.

I know, those obviously drop from the Shadow Lord, but if they are not confirmed yet, I am beginning to wonder if the drops are in a different fight with SL, or?...

No, not confirmed.

Common theory is that it requires Throne Room to be taken somehow. So far the only drops people have gotten are the cape, neckpiece, and Great Sword.

I find it odd, personally.

I also noticed the resources from Throne room decreased a lot.

Yesterday they were ar 100/150

Today back at 300.

I also been asking jp friends to see if they got shadow lord gear drops but no one gotten them so far.

That just means that it's related, which it obviously is (the armor he wears looks just like Nocturnus armor), but not that it certainly comes from the BCNM that people are doing.
